  We have been so incredibly grateful for our time at KinderCare. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff made us feel welcomed, supported, and confident that our daughter was in wonderful hands. The care, patience, kindness, and love they have shown her have meant more to our family than I can put into words. She has grown so much during her time here—not just academically, but socially and emotionally—and we truly believe the people who have cared for her have played such an important role in that growth. It is such a gift as a parent to know that your child is somewhere they are genuinely loved, known, and cared for. We will always be incredibly thankful for the wonderful people who have been part of this chapter of her life. I cannot recommend this daycare enough to any family looking for a place where their child will be truly cared for. ❤️

  We have had 2 children attend this location years apart, for a total of 4 years. Under the direction of Ms. Anna, we take them there knowing that they are safe, loved, and treated with the same care that we would provide. We love Kindercare ♥️

  *LONG POST ALERT* I enrolled my daughter at KinderCare Buford under the impression that the teachers and staff were experienced and prepared to help toddlers transition into daycare, especially children who have never been in a daycare setting before. Unfortunately, our experience was completely different from what I expected based on the tour and conversations prior to enrollment. My daughter had never attended daycare before, and I enrolled her for three days a week. We did not even make it through the first three days without an issue every single day. Each day, I received a phone call about something—she couldn’t nap, she was “crying too much,” or she was having a difficult time adjusting. On her last day, I received a call during an important work meeting telling me that my daughter was having a rough time, that they did not have the staff available to watch her in the front, and that I needed to come pick her up. One of my first red flags was that the assistant director seemed to have forgotten that it was my daughter’s very first day. I was also told that she wasn’t able to sit in the regular chair during breakfast or lunch and that they had to put her in a high chair. They explained that they “only do that for our younger students.” I understand that toddlers need to learn classroom routines, but isn’t transitioning them into things like sitting at the table part of the process? I expected patience, guidance, and time for her to adjust—not for her to already know how to function in a daycare classroom when she had never been in one before. Another concern brought to me was circle time. I was told that my daughter would not sit still during circle time, that she was running around, and that because of this, she was taking a lot of the teacher’s attention away from the other students. Again, this was her VERY FIRST DAY in daycare. She had never experienced a daycare classroom, circle time, or this type of structured routine before. (Only child) What bothered me the most happened on her last day. The assistant director told me, “I forgot to tell you during your tour, we tell parents to block off their schedule during the first week because if the child cries too much, the parents will need to come pick them up.” That is something I absolutely should have been told BEFORE enrolling my child. Had I known that I needed to block off my work schedule for the possibility of being called to pick her up because she was crying while adjusting to daycare, I would have been able to make a more informed decision about whether this center was the right fit for our family. During the tour, none of these potential issues or expectations were explained to me. Instead, I left with the impression that the center understood that this would be my daughter’s first daycare experience and that the staff would work with her while she transitioned into a new environment and routine. I completely understand that daycare transitions can be difficult and that some children need more time than others. My concern is that my daughter was barely given that time. Three days is an incredibly short amount of time for a toddler who has never been in daycare to suddenly become comfortable with new people, a new environment, a new nap schedule, new mealtime expectations, and being away from her parents. I ultimately decided to unenroll her because I did not feel that this was the supportive transition experience that had been presented to me. I do want to recognize Ms. Alexis because she was AMAZING. She was the person who made me feel the most comfortable throughout this experience. She was kind, reassuring, and helped me understand that my daughter would need time to adjust to a completely new routine. I truly appreciated the patience and understanding she showed both me and my daughter. Unfortunately, the overall experience with the center did not match that same level of understanding. I wish the expectations and policies surrounding first-time daycare transitions had been communicated honestly and clearly from the beginning.

  I just wanted to take a moment and come on here to show my appreciation to this wonderful daycare center. My daughter has been going to this center since the beginning of the school year and the teachers and staff have been nothing but the best. They show so much care, love, and generosity towards every single child, all the staff take the time to work with every child individually and that shows so much on how the teachers care about every child's growth. The staff put so much effort to make your child and your family feel at home in every classroom. My daughter loves her teachers Ms. Zoey and Ms Krista and the classroom environment that she's in because she feels so comfortable and safe with them. She's even nick named her teacher Ms Krista "Ms Kris Kris" because of how much care she feels from them, so thank you to all the staff for making my daughter apart of their lives and care so much for her. Thank you especially to Ms. Zoey and Ms. Krista for having my daughter in good hands, and thank you to Ms Anna and Ms. Zariann for welcoming us and making us part of their Buford Kindercare family. So to every parent I do recommend this amazing daycare center, trust me your child will be in good hands.

  The staff is incompetent and they will charge you late fees when you have paid even when you have proof. Be careful with this school!
