  I cannot praise this school and it's staff enough. My granddaughter cried because she didn't get a chance to hug Ms. LaShonda goodbye on the last week of school., (early vacation) She still talks about her! She is a wonderful teacher that we will always be grateful for! Also Ms. Katie is a wonderful principal, very interactive with everyone! Never knew there was a principal until she arrived! Ms. LaKeisha as well, always welcomed me with a smile! We will miss you all! Thank you for everything 💕

  We have enjoyed our time at Chesterbrook Academy. Katie (director/principle) has been accommodating and approachable from day one. She goes out of her way to make the kids happy and that stood out to me . My child was in the pre-K Class with Ms. Nikera and she was an absolute blessing. My child had been with me at home for about 6 months after a move, and he was resisting going back to school. She was very warm, nurturing, and patient. Today was our last day and we will miss all the friendly faces and the beautiful, spacey facility!

  My name is Malaysia and my daughter has attended Chesterbrook for four years. From Toddler to Pre-K. When I first brought my daughter here, I was in tears about leaving her and almost took her out. I was scared because I was seeing daycare abuse on the news every other week. That teacher looked me in my eyes and told me my daughter was protected. I decided to stay and I am glad I did. My daughter quickly picked up potty training, writing her name, and her abc’s. I was absolutely amazed! Although her Toddler teacher no longer works there, her Pre-k teacher is the absolute best. My daughter’s Pre-K teacher is Ms. Lashanda Downing. My daughter is ready for kindergarten because of her and her efforts. I can say with 100% certainty, this teacher will get your child ready for kindergarten. Put your trust in this teacher because she will have your back. You will be kept informed about your child’s progress. My daughter has grown academically and socially here and I have all the tools I need to continue to be apart of her educational journey because of this daycare. The school itself is safe and friendly. The fact that every teacher and staff member knows your child by name, is honestly the most comforting thing ever. The activities are fun and memorable to the kids, and your child will enjoy their time here especially with the new changes they have just added!

  I am unable to leave multiple reviews so I’m updating my previous post. Ms. Katie is an awesome principal and she is always right in the thick of it with the teachers - never holding down the desk. Admin staff, Ms. Keisha, is also always assisting with the students and whenever I reach out regarding my child, I receive a response in a timely fashion. My son has had the best experience with teachers, specifically with Ms. Allie. She is awesome and I’ve seen nothing but growth from my son since he’s been in her class. She is also very communicative regarding his needs, what gems learning, sharing kudos for growth in using his voice. I couldn’t keep Chesterbrook a secret - when a colleague shared that she was need of a school for her kids, I didn’t hesitate to mention Chesterbrook. I’m glad that she is also having a great experience with her children. We are looking forward to an awesome school year and so thankful for all they’ve done and continue to do.

  My daughter has been attending Chesterbrook Academy since she was just 4 months old, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about the administrative staff and her incredible teachers (shoutout Ms. Sharon, Mrs. Tiffany, and Ms. Jayla!!!) As a first-time mom, leaving my baby in someone else’s care was incredibly difficult, but they made the transition so much easier with their kindness, patience, and genuine love for the children. Knowing my daughter is loved and well cared for while I’m at work gives me so much peace of mind. I am beyond grateful for the impact Chesterbrook Academy has had on her first year of life. Thank you for loving my little girl so well and for everything you do every single day. We appreciate you more than words can express! -Abby Hicks
