    Unless otherwise updated, this place is cash or check only. Otherwise it's a reasonable store run by a reasonable owner with reasonable prices who sells reasonable products. It looks like music lessons are done in private rooms as well. Double check instruments to make sure nothing is cracked or dinged. A cheap guitar bought new meant to be used for total strangers to perform on had a cracked bridge. But with the receipt it was refunded without any fuss. I'm sure with all the parents and kids poking around things get whacked and dinged around quite a lot. If you support local businesses, be sure to shop here. I hope the owner is just a little more careful about damaged products and offers to allow customers to pay a slightly higher price for the convenience of paying by card to offset the service fee that he would otherwise charge. A 4% mark up on a $250 instrument is an extra $10, and for many, that is less annoying to pay than expensing time and fuel to run to an ATM to get cash. I'd say add a $4 surcharge per $100 and it's a non issue, and he will make a sale that otherwise wouldn't happen.

    We rented a clarinet from this store and bought 5 reeds and the required book. Two of the reeds were cracked and the book was missing the dvd (as the instructor told us she should have gotten a dvd with it as well) . When we called the store to discuss the problem the man was extremely rude and basically said we were not telling the truth. He went so far as to laugh and would not let me get a word in edge wise. TRULY the worst I have ever been treated by a retailer ever. You would think that since my daughter is only in the 5th grade that they would want us to rent\purchase all of our instruments through high school and beyond. This man is clueless as to what customer service means and building relationships with his clients. I called the rental company and then I get a call back from MARK and AFTER he accussed me of "losing" the other disc in the first conversation he states this book only comes with one disc in his second conversation. When I tried to tell him this is my first experience with my daughter being in band he tells me to be quiet and listen, I told him I will NEVER GET ANYTHING THERE AND WHEN OUR 3 MONTHS IS UP I WILL RETURN THE INSTRUMENT AND RENT FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU GET ANYTHING HERE!!! AND BASED ON THE OTHER EXPERIENCES LISTED BELOW I WOULD NOT EVEN THINK OF GETTING AN INSTRUMENT REPAIRED HERE EITHER!!!!
