This place has gone downhill since the other teachers left. A teacher by the name of Gabby decided that she was going to take it upon herself to use her OWN brush and product on MY child’s hair to give her edges. My child is 6!!!…. I HAD TO FIND OUT FROM ASKING MY CHILD WHEN WE GOT HOME WHAT WAS IN HER HAIR. The teacher didn’t even have the decency to TELL ME when I picked her up, yet they sit in my face and wanna talk about how “pretty” someone is. This is not only unprofessional but this is DISGUSTING. Your products are NOT clean! You dont know what chemicals my child could or couldn’t use in her hair considering she has LOCS. I’m LIVID about this bc not only did it turn my child’s hair white, and was caked on her hair, but she had small bumps around her edges. Clearly they are not trained and just hired. This is HOW SCALP DISEASES GO AROUND! This is HOW YOU SPREAD LICE!!! What ever made you a TEACHER feel like she can play in my daughters hair put product in it and NOT ASK MY OR HER FATHERS permission. You don’t do these other kids edges and if she was white, I GUARANTEE her hair wouldn’t have been played in. How is GABBY not aware this is how fungal diseases start?!! If this location wasn’t needed with my daily schedule, I’d remove my child for this specific reason. For a teacher to feel she can make physical moderations to a child that ISNT HERS. I don’t appreciate you felt you could put things in my child’s hair. You don’t know her or myself as her mother outside of this place so I’m having a hard time trying to understand why this was thought to be okay. I do expect a meeting or someone to reach out EXPLAINING why you thought this was okay.

I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with this daycare. When I enrolled my child, I was told by the assistant director, Dejanae, that my Title 20 co-pay was $0. Based on that information, I trusted the center and continued care for nine weeks. Out of nowhere, on a day I decided to keep her home. I received a phone call and was then informed that I owed $1,800 and that my child could not return until it was paid. Instead of taking responsibility for the misinformation, I was told I would have to make a $50 weekly payment toward the balance plus a $186 co-pay for infant tuition. This was never explained upfront. I escalated the issue to the district manager, Robin, who dismissed my concerns and stated that because I “received services,” I was still required to pay. She was very rude and insensitive to the situation her staff has created. Robin stated the reason I wasn’t informed about the missed payments sooner was because the director isn’t “confrontational”. Which for some reason is my fault????? She later adjusted the balance by removing the late fees and sent me a bill, but has since ignored my calls. The daycare policy is after two week of non payment the child cannot return till payments have been made. With this in mind the daycare let us come everyday for nine weeks. Not once was a late payment mentioned by the director who I saw everyday if not twice a day. I agreed to pay for the two weeks including late fees. Not to mention title 20 cannot be Charged for service if co pays havent been made after 3 weeks. Since this occurred I’ve called twice a week for weeks now going on over a month, left messages to get my un-enrollment paperwork and still have not received a single call back. This situation was completely avoidable if the assistant director had been transparent from the beginning. Instead, I was blindsided with a bill I never agreed to, and left without childcare for my infant. This resulted in calling off work and having to find other child care on a short notice. Parents should be able to trust that a daycare will provide clear, accurate information — not misleading details that create financial hardship. I strongly urge any parent considering this center to get everything in writing and to verify all co-pays directly with the director before enrolling. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and unprofessional handling of this matter make it impossible for me to recommend this daycare.

My daughter started with Rainbow when she was about 3 months old. We chose Rainbow for a number of reasons. We felt very comfortable and welcomed during our tour, all the staff and teachers were very friendly and you could tell they care a lot for the children. Most everyone who works there has been working with children for a very long time. Our daughter is doing well, and you can tell she really enjoys her time there. They work with her on developmental milestones and send out monthly communication on what they plan to focus on and how we can help as parents to continue that at home. The children definitely come first and at times the parents or visitors have to wait for a staff member to be available. Definitely not a problem for us!

We love it here at Rainbow! I'm glad our family made the decision to come here. My two kids can't stop talking about all the friends they've made, all the fun they have and the great staff. My wife and I think it's too funny when they don't want to leave at the end of the day. This really is a great place to bring your kids.
