  My experience at this daycare was extremely disappointing and hurtful. As a Black mother, I left feeling that I was treated differently and unfairly. After my daughter attended for only one day, Paula and Michelle told me not to bring her back. During our conversation, I was accused of committing fraud because my daughter has a different last name than I do and questions were raised about my paperwork. I found those accusations offensive and humiliating, especially since I was willing to provide any documentation that was needed. The way I was spoken to felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Instead of being treated with understanding and respect, I felt judged from the beginning. Based on my experience and the way I was treated, I believe I was subjected to unfair bias, and I left feeling that race may have played a role in how I was treated. No parent should have to experience being accused of wrongdoing without evidence or made to feel unwelcome after their child has only attended for one day. I expected professionalism, clear communication, and respect. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. I am sharing my story so other families are aware of what I experienced and so that organizations entrusted with caring for children are held to a high standard of fairness, respect, and professionalism.

  My daughter has attended Perrysburg Kindercare since she was five months old. She is now in the preschool room. We’ve had a wonderful experience. She has grown and learned so much. She is thriving! She is happy to go to school and I have total peace of mind and confidence in the care and education she’s receiving. Paula and Michelle are fantastic and so are the teachers and staff. Everyone is so kind and caring and they appreciate each child for who they are. I am grateful they are part of my village.

  Kindercare is like a second family. I went from a mom that never felt comfortable with my kids in childcare to being excited for them to go everyday. My 3 and 5 year old have thrived since day one at the center. In fact my 3 year old screamed "YAY SCHOOL" when we pulled in the parking lot today. The teachers and directors care for every child as they were their own. I never worry about my boys while at work and school. They provide me with updates at the end of the day when I pick my boys up. This gives me a huge peace of mind.I highly recommend Perrysburg Kindercare to all.
