I came here knowing it's a school, and the student, Bella, was very sweet and polite throughout the service. However, the instructors here are completely unprofessional!!
I asked for layers, a V-shape trim, and a shortened fringe with a reference photo. The first instructor handled my hair roughly, causing pain and even hurting my ear. I was still trying to be nice because I didn’t want to be a picky customer. After the first instructor giving a few brief directions, she walked away and rarely checked in. It just left my hair cut completely differently than the picture I showed to them!
Due to their errors, my hair was cut too short with no room to fix. Another instructor, Lori, was called but failed to monitor the process properly AS WELL. When I told the front desk I don’t like it, they offered a second fix but NEVER mentioned any extra fees. During the second fix, Lori became impatient and snapped, "You came through ALL the instructors." They also acted confused by my clear requests, which felt like a
microaggression. Out of sheer helplessness, I made a rhetorical comment: "l can even pay extra, but I don't want to leave my hair like this."
To my shock, the checkout desk forced me to pay $40, claiming that "I agreed to pay double." I explained that my statement was an expression of deep unhappiness, not a financial agreement. Right after, Lori snapped, "Are you happy with it right now?" When I said “yes I mean it was at least better than the first time, she insultingly responded, "ok then that's what you are paying for."
I came in a few times before and I was satisfied with it, but I don’t know what’s going on with them right now?? Are u guys being serious to treat a customer like this???
