This is a very winded but well thought out review. I don’t typically write reviews, but these are our children so I think that it’s important. I really had high hopes for this daycare. My son had gone to KinderCare since he was four months old starting out at the Cuyahoga Falls location. We adored that place and loved everyone that worked there and I knew two of his teachers personally which really put my mind at ease. In 2025 we relocated to Green and instead of finding a new daycare we just transferred him to the Green location and the environment was drastically different. When he first started out, he did really well but the second he transferred to the following classroom was when everything changed. He told me on more than one occasion that his teacher had pushed his head or hit him which I brought to the directors attention immediately. I was very quickly dismissed until the ASSISTANT Director jumped in and said “No, that’s not okay we’re going to keep an eye that.” Said teacher couldn’t look us in our eyes when we would come in and ask about his day. She constantly seemed flustered and unorganized. For almost a year, my son dreaded going to school and would physically fight us to walk into the building or the classroom or would try to run from us. His behavior while he was there got increasingly worse, and he was very obviously stressed out at home and school. Anytime you asked him about school he would literally zone out and refuse to speak to you or tell me that he didn’t want to talk about it. They then put him on a probation period which they like to call a “behavioral program” for not being able to get him to come in from the playground because it would “jeopardize their licensing”. I started enrollment processes at a different daycare before KinderCare ultimately decided to remove my son from their program. Their office assistant is incompetent and on several occasions gave me false information not only about my child but also about funds that were wrongly charged to my CREDIT CARD. She told me that a refund would take up to 12 weeks to get back to me, but when I called their corporate office after 6 weeks of waiting, they told me it only takes 3 to 5. My refund check was delivered to an address that I lived in six years ago. I’m not sure if communication is actually that bad or they just didn’t care enough. Upon leaving, they offered resources to get my son into a smaller care program but the issue was not the number of kids. They made me feel like something had to be wrong with my child but in reality, he’s just a three year-old. He’s been at his new daycare for about a month now, and he wakes up in the morning everyday and asks me to go to school. He runs into his classroom at his own free will, overjoyed to see his new teachers and friends. They don’t give the kids tablets and they listen to his needs. They allow him to be a kid instead of trying to fit him into the mold that KinderCare very obviously strives for and you know what??? This has been the most well behaved and “normal/back to himself” my son has been since we moved here. PS. My 2 year old’s teacher Miss Denise is hands down the best employee that they have at this establishment. I wish everyone there had her realness, kindness, loving demeanor and whimsy. We still miss her and talk about how great she was. Crystal the assistant director is good at her job and really steps up when the other two fall short, I appreciate that she tried to help. Daycares are definitely hit or miss and unfortunately our experience here was not great.
UPDATE: After receiving a call from the district manager, Cassidy, I wanted to revise my review. Cassidy was very pleasant to speak to and seemed very aligned with my views and very proactive about addressing my concerns. I wish that she had been involved in this situation before my son was removed from the program. I was pleasantly surprised to hear that Crystal the assistant director will be moving up at this location. I’m hoping that new management will open the doors to improvement at this center.

My son is almost 2 & has been going to this location since he was 3 months old. Every teacher/class he’s been in has been phenomenal. The communication is great. They’re always happy to answer questions & ease concerns, even when I called a million times a day as a new & anxious mom. Every teacher that has worked with my child has very clearly cared about him & his development. We’re always greeted when we arrive and leave. Aside from the amazing staff, the education goes above & beyond in my opinion! They started teaching sign language when my son was an infant, they started potty training him, & we get regular reports regarding what activities are going on in the class & how they directly correlate to development. Any time we’ve taken any concerns to them with difficulties at home they’ve always helped work with our son to help achieve goals. They offer so many other programs to enhance education as well. The thought & effort put into the daily care is top tier & I truly can’t recommend them enough!

My son has been in Kindercare at this location since 2015. All the teachers are caring and loving. I would not have my son anywhere else. It's really like a second home. The director and assistant director are equally caring and are always available and considerate. I completely trust my son in their care. I honestly could not imagine life without Kindercare. If I could rate them a 10 I would. These people are top notch good people.
It's kind of funny that just about 2 years ago to this day I posted a positive review for Kindercare Green (as below) about our first child. Since that time, our family moved and grew and our daughters attended another daycare for the last 2 years before our oldest enrolled in our local school system.
2 years' ago review: "My husband and I couldn't be happier with our experience at Green Kindercare. The incredible care, love, teaching, and attention to detail each of the staff members provides our toddler daughter (who has been a "Friend" there since she was just 6 wks old!) is a true testament to the atmosphere they work hard to create and sustain on a daily basis. We know we are incredibly blessed to have such a compassionate extended family at Green Kindercare."
I can absolutely say the same and more now even after 2 years has passed. We chose to re-enroll our 2nd child in the pre-K class at Green Kindercare with Miss Beth and Miss Ashley instead of having our 4 yr old continue at the other (closer to our new home) daycare. The weekly Phonics lessons with Miss Crystal, fun daily summer special activities, photo and activity updates through their easy-to-use app incredibly surpass the communication we received from our last daycare for the last 2 years.
Additionally, we are greeted by warm smiles and welcomes/goodbyes in the mornings and evenings during dropoffs and pickups (which can be a huge transition time for both our 4 yr old and us as parents!).
The re-enrollment process was handled in a very professional and organized manner with center Director Brittney and Assistant Director Cailey. They were prompt and so kind in their responses to all questions whether communicating via email or personal phonecall.
I would be remiss not to mention a big reason we came back to Kindercare Green was due to the personal relationship we developed with the toddler teacher Miss Denise who has become like part of our extended family and maintained close contact with our family even after we moved and our daughters transitioned to another daycare. Miss Denise has received numerous prestigious awards (which she'd never tell you about herself) for being an incredible early childhood development advocate and teacher. She has also traveled with Kindercare to their various other sites to teach other centers how to incorporate fun, individualized approaches to learning for the families Kindercare as a whole serves.
In conclusion- I know our 4 year old is safe, excited to go to "school" and is thriving with the structured (but not strict) learning curriculum at Kindercare Green and can't wait to watch her grow and blossom academically and socially with the help of the competent and caring staff at Kindercare Green. Here's to the best Summer 2023.
As a separate aside, our now 6 year old just completed her first year of Kindergarten in a competitive public school district in the area and was in the high 90th percentiles in her testing in both math and reading. My husband and I have NO DOUBT that the base of knowledge she acquired at Green Kindercare before moving to a different daycare had everything to do with her early success and love for learning. She's already looking forward to starting 1st grade. Thank you to all of you at Green Kindercare who helped in her formative and foundational years. We couldn't be more pleased!
