  I’m very disappointed with how my son was treated. He felt pressured to start right away and was made to feel bad about where he is in life. He graduated from high school only four years ago, and he is currently working. Everyone’s path and timeline are different, and he should have been encouraged and supported rather than made to feel like he wasn’t doing enough.

  DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS SCHOOL!! ONLY 4 OUT OF 30 GRADUATES GOT JOBS! - REASONS TO NOT ATTEND FROM A JUNE GRADUATE. 1) The teachers are a joke. Class begins at 2:20 yet 90% of the time you won’t do anything. Everyone plays games on their laptop and the teachers don’t teach, and if they do they will begin the lesson late, or finish the lesson early with hours left of the day to spare. They are also completely inappropriate and have no desire to teach. One was watching the Diddy Documentary, and talking about how he masturbates 6 times a day… (I have video proof of this). It doesn’t make sense to attend when if you want to learn at this school you have to teach yourself the course material. 2) You will not get a job. The career fairs are a joke. They mix their career fairs between Automotive and Electrical, and yet the 3 career fairs in the 9.5 months I’ve been to, they were catered 95% to Automotive. Also no known companies were brought in. And every electrical booth would offer a position for out of the state…. They say in their presentation that they network with Con Ed, MTA, and Amtrak, etc yet only MTA was at the career fair once! And tell me why the MTA representative had no idea what electrical jobs they had to offer, but instead had a placard with all of their general jobs including bus operator and cleaner… r u serious? ALSO DO NOT ATTEND THE FIT PROGRAM, graduates of that program have come back to visit and said it is not worth it. I was also told I would be contacted by Johnson Controls via Lincoln Tech and still, months later have not gotten reached out to. Even the smartest kid in the class, with a 4.0 GPA has yet to get a job coming out of this school. 3) The school advisors give you a false tour. My joke of an advisor was Zameer. They make you come in through the staff entrance so you don’t see the poor conditions of the downstairs classes. They show you rooms with equipment, yet you won’t be put in those rooms once you attend. I was told there would be food “trucks” (plural) that come everyday for different lunch options, but instead you are visited by the same pizza truck everyday on your 10 minute evening break rather than your 40 minute afternoon lunch. If you choose to bring your lunch keep in mind nobody cleans the microwaves, or services them. You will have 3/8 microwaves working and they will be filthy. 4) Bonus: Your graduation is months after you finish school. So if your lucky enough to even get a job after finishing, you must then ask for the day off to attend your graduation when they finally announce it months later. Where it is hosted in the parking lot outside of the school… Please take my advice as I wish I had taken other’s before deciding to attend this disgrace of a school for a back-breaking career that you will despise down the line. If you really want to become an electrician, call companies around to become an apprentice. They will teach you while you get paid rather than wasting 30k.

  My experience at Lincoln Technical Institute Whitestone was honestly a mixed experience. I can’t say I learned as much as I expected to from the program, and there were definitely times when I felt like I wasn’t getting the support or preparation I needed. The biggest positive for me was the Career Services team. I want to give a special shoutout to Veronica, Jordan, and Marxiel. They were the people who actually helped me navigate the process, find opportunities, and get my foot in the door. Without their help, my experience could have been very different. I’m grateful for the opportunity Lincoln Tech gave me, but I also think there are areas where the school can improve, especially when it comes to hands-on training, student support, and preparing students for what they’re actually going to experience in the field. At the end of the day, I’m proud of where I am now, but I believe the students coming after me deserve an even better experience.

  Went for an onsite visit with students. They were amazing young people. Well engaged in learning about financial literacy. Future will be great they are on the right path

  Carmelo has been the most respectful person I met in Lincoln tech he help me with a lot and help me understand the meaning of Lincoln tech and why it is good for me
