5 STARS for the teachers, we had an absolute great experience the past 1.5 years as far as teachers are concerned at Kindercare - we will absolutely miss each & every one of you and appreciate your time caring for our daughter more than you know. 1 STAR for not meeting ratios, days we were turned away or asked to stay home for not meeting ratios, & lack of administrative organization that caused the center to shut down abruptly and leave us and many other families without care. We do hope our paths cross again with the teachers we had as they were nothing but amazing to my daughter! We are sad to see what’s happening at Kindercare as we personally had a great experience as far as care & learning is concerned. Hopefully they can get this center organized & turned around for the better when they reopen.

Our experience with this KinderCare has been incredibly frustrating. Over the past several months, families have repeatedly received last-minute messages asking parents to keep their children home because the center does not have enough staff to maintain required ratios. Sometimes these requests come the evening before, and other times they arrive the morning of care, leaving me scrambling to rearrange my schedule, miss work, or find alternative childcare with little to no notice. The messages consistently cite teacher call-outs, staffing shortages, and ratio concerns. Unfortunately, this has not been an isolated occurrence- it has become a recurring pattern. We are being asked to absorb the consequences of operational and staffing decisions that should be managed by the provider. What makes this even more frustrating is that there are very few alternatives. Daycare waitlists in the area are long, and I can't simply move my children elsewhere. As a result, I’ve been forced to tolerate disruptions that would be unacceptable in most other services because the alternative may be having no childcare at all. This is especially disappointing because KinderCare is not a small independent daycare struggling to survive. KinderCare is owned by private equity and is now a publicly traded company. While I am dealing with ongoing staffing shortages, classroom closures, and repeated disruptions, the company is ultimately accountable to investors and shareholders- profiting off a business that really should not be profited off of. As someone who works for a company that’s owned by private equity, I know the goal is to squeeze the business until it’s a husk of its former self, while maximizing shareholder profits. I’m sure that going public has not helped the compensation, benefits, staffing levels, and working conditions that are contributing to the apparent turnover and staffing challenges. To be clear, my frustration is not with the teachers. The staff members who work directly with my kids have generally been caring, professional, and clearly doing their best under difficult circumstances. My concern is with the management and business decisions that have allowed these staffing issues to become a recurring problem. Do not send your children here until these issues are resolved! Or deal with having to keep your kid home 1-2 days every single week. (Posting this under an alias so as to not be retaliated against.)

Bradford Area Christian Academy is an outstanding school that truly goes above and beyond in providing both academic excellence and strong moral guidance. The teachers are dedicated, caring, and genuinely invested in each student’s success, creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. The curriculum is well-rounded, challenging students academically while also nurturing character, leadership, and faith. Small class sizes allow for personalized attention, which makes a huge difference in student confidence and growth. Parents can feel confident knowing their children are not only receiving a quality education but are also being guided to develop strong values and integrity. The sense of community within the school is warm and welcoming, making it feel like an extended family.
