Back in the day, in the Before Times, John Hix started teaching guitar. It was 1946. The war was over and folks were clamoring (yes, they clamored) for music lessons! John Hix opened his first guitar studio on Benton Street, on the east side of Aurora. Now, over three-quarters of a century later, here we are continuing his legacy. How? With qualified, experienced, passionate teachers. Why? Because we believe in the power of music and its unique ability to help students develop confidence.
