  My experience at AIM was very disappointing. I attended class regularly, but I failed Block 4 even though I believe I met the requirements. I also saw students with poor attendance pass, which made the grading process seem inconsistent and unfair. In my experience, if you disagree or have an argument with an instructor, it can negatively affect your grades. I personally felt that I was failed in Block 4 without being given a clear reason. Based on my experience, I felt that unequal treatment and discrimination still exist at this school. Repeating a block also means paying additional tuition out of your own pocket.

  My Experience at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM) I enrolled at the Aviation Institute of Maintenance with the goal of becoming an FAA-certified Aviation Maintenance Technician. I began my studies in November and successfully completed the General course. I invested a significant amount of time, effort, and money into my education because I wanted to build a career in aviation. My experience changed during Block 6. Throughout this course, I felt that I was treated differently from other students by my instructor. On several occasions, the instructor handed documents or materials to the rest of the class while excluding me. When I attempted to ask questions or request help, I was sometimes told “no” and was not given the same level of assistance that other students appeared to receive. These experiences made me feel discouraged and concerned that I was not being treated fairly. I attended class regularly and did not exceed the school’s attendance limit. I completed my assignments and my project to the best of my ability. At the end of Block 6, I received a failing grade. I was surprised by this result because I believed I had completed the required work. After receiving the failing grade, I gathered the evidence I had available, including photographs and information from classmates who were willing to support my account. I submitted this information to the school administration and asked for my case to be reviewed. I hoped that the school would conduct a fair and impartial investigation into my concerns. Despite my efforts, I was informed that the evidence I provided was not sufficient, and my request did not lead to a resolution. As a result, I was told that I would need to repeat Block 6 at an additional cost of approximately $2,700. Considering that my total educational cost is approximately $54,000, this created a significant financial burden. This experience affected my confidence in the fairness of the evaluation process. My goal was never to avoid responsibility or receive special treatment. I only wanted my work and my concerns to be reviewed fairly and objectively. I remain proud of the effort I put into my education and grateful for the knowledge I gained. However, because my concerns were not resolved to my satisfaction, I ultimately decided that withdrawing from the program was the best decision for me. I hope that by sharing my experience, the school will carefully review its procedures to ensure that every student is treated with fairness, respect, and equal opportunity regardless of background or personal circumstances

  STAY AWAY FROM aim chicago, had a terrible learning program, that didn’t help me prepare for the aviation field, they promote equality and women being to able in this field. But it is false, Aim doesn’t have instructors or proper management at this establishment to have the correct program going to get into fixing planes. this school needs to be shut down as it doesn’t meet the standards to teach anyone how fix any aircraft. I completed the program and got hired on at an airline but all thanks to me, they didn’t have any help or influence into getting me the job I have. You have to have the proper experience working with your hands before even taking on this course at this school. Go to Lewis University or any other college.
