I cannot say enough good things about Primrose School of West Des Moines. The school is committed to each child’s growth, both academically and emotionally.
I feel completely comfortable dropping my child off each day and have true peace of mind. At Primrose, I know he is safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.
We love his teachers, Miss Ana and Miss Cheyanne. They clearly love him, and it shows in how they care for him, support his development, and help him reach new milestones. My husband and I, as well as our pediatrician, are always amazed at the things our son learns at school.
We also love the director, Rhea, and the assistant director, Gabrielle. They are incredibly responsive, considerate, and truly in tune with my child’s needs and development. My son is sensitive to change, and they consistently go out of their way to accommodate this. He also has some nuanced medical concerns, and they have always worked closely with us to support him. If we ever have a concern, it is addressed immediately with thoughtful communication, and I always feel comfortable bringing anything to them.
We have an upcoming move, and honestly, leaving Primrose has been one of the hardest things to let go of - we love it that much. We feel incredibly lucky to have been part of this community and would not hesitate to recommend this school.

We could do all the research in the world into the academics of Primrose, check out the safety of the facility and read reviews from other families, but I could not have known how much the teachers and staff would LOVE my precious little boy. We had a long wishlist of wants in a school – but to know just how much my baby feels compassion and warmth and kindness put my mind at ease more than anything else ever could have.
And Clark has made giant developmental leaps and bounds at Primrose, too! The first time he crawled, walked, rolled, held his own bottle and spoke (in gibberish) were all at school. We joke that he hates the weekends because he’s bored!

Primrose has been an outstanding experience for our son and our family. The staff are genuinely caring, highly communicative, and clearly invested in the well-being of every child. We especially appreciate their diligence in keeping our son safe with his food allergies and the consistent updates on his daily activities. Rhea is an exceptional leader, and we are so grateful for her guidance and dedication.

We absolutely love Primrose for our two toddlers. They started there as infants and we couldn’t be happier with the curriculum, caring staff, and teachers who have become like family to us. Our children have become more confident, outgoing, and so very polite. Primrose, is hands down the best daycare/school in the Des Moines area.
