  From the very beginning, they welcomed my son with warmth, patience, and genuine care. It is clear that the teachers truly love what they do and treat the children as if they were their own. Knowing that my son is safe, happy, and cared for throughout the day gives me tremendous peace of mind. I love receiving updates about his day and seeing how much he is learning and growing. The staff encourages his development and always take the time to answer questions or address concerns. Every morning, I feel confident leaving him in their care, and every afternoon I pick up a happy, smiling baby. As a working parent, having a daycare team that I trust completely is invaluable. I am so grateful for the kindness, dedication, and professionalism they show every day. Thank you for creating such a loving and nurturing environment for my son. Our family truly appreciates everything you do.

  This review is solely based on me coming to the school, conducting a school tour, etc My first interaction was with Mrs. Alesha and she was very professional and kind. Due to my child’s school suddenly closing I searched up schools in the area. I came across Penn Quarter KinderCare, the location is spot on and it is metro accessible for those who rely on public transportation. I signed up for a tour online and went on my lunch break. I was greeted with smiles and while they were not aware I was coming they didn’t make me feel like I was an inconvenience. Since then I have been back three times to drop off various paperwork and meet my child’s new teacher and each times I have been greeted and handled in a professional matter. I will update my review once my child starts but so far so good the school supplies all meals and snacks, diapers, wipes etc they also accommodate any allergies your child may have. I do see the reviews but honestly that hasn’t been my experience. One of my child’s current teachers actually came from this center and she recommended it to me.

  I took a tour February 24 and was told that there was one opening for a two year-old slot and to have everything done As far as paperwork wise for March, March came and I had didn’t hear from anybody so I contacted them myself. I was told by a front desk staff that all I was waiting for was a teacher meeting to be set up to get my child Enrolled fully. Two weeks went by. I called again to see what was the wait for the teacher meeting. They told me they will call me to let me know when it will be set up. it then turned into April. I called again. I spoke to the front desk agent who told me that there was new staff in the building and that she was not handling the process correctly and that I will get a call back later on that afternoon to finish the process to set up the teacher meeting. No one called back so I called back. No one answered. I then gave up only to be met with an email in May appreciating me for taking the time to come to tour in February and if I have any questions about enrollment to contact them, but no one has contacted me so I sent them an email explaining to them everything that happened for them to tell me that my child could be placed on a waitlist and that they’re sorry for the miscommunication when in fact, there was no miscommunication there just wasn’t communication at all. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to anyone because if you cannot communicate on basic paperwork, how can I trust you to communicate to me about my child?

  KinderCare Penn Quarter is an amazing school! My son attended the program for over a year and we saw so much growth in what he learned and his overall development. The staff, from the leadership to the teachers, are truly invested in the success of their students and its apparent in everything they do. From their daily lessons, to their outdoor activities on The Mall and field trips to the library, KinderCare does an amazing job of teaching students in a fun and engaging way. KinderCare Penn Quarter is truly a family and we were lucky to have been a part of it!

  my son has been apart of the KC family since March & i absolutely love it! he started off at the buckman rd location in their infant program and my experience was amazing! he was hitting every milestone, development & motor skills! the communication was outstanding! i recently switched him to the Penn Quarter location & my son has been nothing but happy! i was skeptical at first due to the fact that he would be starting over but he fit right in! everyone welcomed my son with open arms and i couldnt be anymore happier! he’s now in the toddler program and his teachers are amazing! they love & care for my son as if he was their own child. ms.ni’mat & ms.shirletta are both amazing! they communicate everything and always have an answer for any questions that i have! im glad my son & I could be apart of something so special!
