They create a positive and enjoyable learning environment where children can build confidence while developing their musical skills. We are very happy with our experience.

And now both of them have joined bands and love playing with their bands. They both came in with previous music lessons but quickly picked up new instruments, one is singing and the other bass. If you’re looking for a school and community that loves music and encourages kids to try new instruments and learn how to play in bands, highly recommend. Diego is always supportive and psychs up the kids for performances, giving them confidence to be on stage. Eva has been my daughter’s teacher for over a year now and has grown their band into playing local shows and community events. The parent community is amazing as well, supporting kids and their shows and being excited for live music. My kids have learned not just their instruments but stage presence, confidence, teamwork, and music theory.

It's wonderful that she could join the band and she is making progress learning to play guitar. The staff is friendly and always in a good mood. She also made a few new friends. All Bach to Rock students must have access to their own instruments for at-home practice.
Bach to Rock is more than happy to advise parents and students on instrument purchases. We can recommend local stores that sell high-quality instruments for a reasonable price.
We also have wholesale contracts with instrument manufacturers and suppliers. This allows us to provide instruments at a discount to parents and students who purchase them from us.
A list of recommended instruments and accessories is available for all parents and students.
Does Bach to Rock provide instruments for in-school lessons?
While students must have their own instruments for at-home practice, Bach to Rock will generally provide students with instruments for in-school lessons.
Drums, guitars, keyboards, and support equipment (such as amplifiers) will always be supplied by the school. This way, students don’t have to transport bulky equipment to and from lessons.
As students advance, they may feel more comfortable using their own instruments for lessons at Bach to Rock. Students are encouraged to bring their own instruments to school for lessons when possible.
Note that we do not provide wind or orchestral instruments such as clarinets, flutes, saxophones, or violins.

It's never too early to get kids started with music! At Bach to Rock, we encourage parents to start music classes early in childhood, so that kids can enjoy the developmental benefits of music education.
Our programs include Rock n Roll (ages 1-3), Rock City® (ages 3-5), Kids n Keys (ages 5-7), and Fun with Music (ages 6-7). Our early childhood classes help prepare students for private music lessons as they grow older.
We recommend starting private lessons at age 7. This is the age when most students are able to read sheet music — an important skill for private lessons.
