Tilden Preparatory School Albany

Tilden Preparatory School is a unique, WASC-accredited, college preparatory school in Albany, California for grades 6-12 that teaches UC-approved courses one-to-one and in small groups. We also use mastery learning, teaching students to 80% (B) or higher level of mastery before moving forward. This allows us to individualize the pace and teaching method to address a wide range of learning needs for our students in the Oakland and East Bay area. We offer individual tutoring, summer classes and college prep courses. Tilden Private Prep School offers more Advanced Placement (AP) course options than most high schools, so that highly academic students have the opportunity to pursue as many areas of interest as they wish in greater depth.
