  I recently completed my CFI training here at First Team and after finishing I can honestly say I cannot recommend them enough. From the very beginning the environment was incredibly welcoming which made starting out at a new flight school feel much less intimidating. Everyone here truly wants to help you succeed and that shows in the way they treat you every step of the way. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable, patient, and most of all kind. No matter what stage of training you’re in they take the time to help you understand things and make sure you feel supported. It never felt like I was just another student going through the process like at other flight schools. they really care about your progress and want the best for you. Would highly recommend to anyone seeking flight training!

  I called First team one week asking for details and a personalized plan that worked for me. The owner was a breath of fresh air compared to other flight schools. He wasn’t selling me on anything I didn’t need. We made a plan together and the very next week I made my way to their business and hit it off. Not only is the owner helpful and kind, him and his staff are experts on getting you where you need to be if you wanna become a pilot. I flew with 3 different pilots and no matter who I was with they all gave me the knowledge required and the expertise that they had to make me into a better pilot. We didn’t waste a second and I got through the training I needed quickly! I can’t recommend this team enough. I can’t wait to return for my next rating!

  I trained here over the course of about two years, and during that time I have not had a single negative interaction. All of the CFI’s seem happy to be there, and you can tell everyone there truly loves to fly. They want to share this love and passion for this craft and it shows. They are easy to work with and fun to be with, they know their stuff, and when they don’t they know who does. All in all 10/10 would fly again. (Ps. a special thanks to Dalton, my CFI, he’s the GOAT.)

  First team pilot was my top choice when searching for a pilot training school, I love out in Collierville and attend the west Memphis location with a great array of planes and instructors, my instructor Elijah is an excellent teacher, teaching me a lot of tips. Love it over here.
