Le Centre d'éducation permanente (CEP) est une fondation à but non lucratif, dédiée à la formation continue principalement pour les organisations publiques et parapubliques.
Fondé en 1992 conjointement par l'Institut de hautes études en administration publique, l'État de Vaud et l'Université de Lausanne, le CEP a pour missions :
- d'offrir ses compétences en matière de conseil et de recherche en gestion et développement des ressources humaines dans la fonction publique ;
- de concevoir et organiser des programmes de formation sur mandats d'organismes publics ou de sa propre initiative ;
- d'assurer la mise en œuvre des formations continues du personnel des institutions publiques.
