  Very abusive group. I worked for people ready in many states but the 1 in st.louis Missouri mistreats it's employees and keeps them from making overtime money they also use you until they can't bully you anymore. Allowing companies to request 4 people with a first come first served basis without giving show up pay no matter how far you drive from "that's the enterprise arena". I was withheld pay from multiple jobs like the st.charles arena until I was able to prove I was their by telling exactly which detail I was on and explaining to the T what i did that night to the point that it took over 2 weeks to get paid for that day. People ready was rude and disrespectful to me as an employee. I do not recommend for anyone male or female.

  I literally told them my phone got stolen they proceed to make up their own words of what I said. Remind you I never said I lost my phone then they said it’s not their fault. No one ever blamed them lol. They are disrespectful people!. They make up their own rules. They also never answer the phone, so what’s the point of even having the line in tact?. Been working with them for close to 6 years and yet have I had a good time besides when I lived in Florida!. oh yeah also when you read the messages, it says that we mess up the dispatch of tickets if we do a no call no show or a late one. But the funny thing is my friend was told that they dispatch a lot of Tickets so they make sure they have people so therefore they turn you around and only pay you $25 for coming there so there is nothing to be messed up u know people have lives too!. We should get the whole shift amount or at least 4hours.

  As a former temp agency supervisor and lead from Staff Management, I am saddened by how the downtown branch treats its employees. When I see a ticket sent from the downtown branch, I refuse to take it unless I really have to. Every other branch pays their employees as soon as the requesting party sends in the hours worked per worker. Downtown branch is the only one that withholds pay until after or close to 24 hrs....for no apparent reason at all. And then threatens reprimanding if you ask questions about what is owed to you. As a former supervisor, I would welcome questions about what is owed to you. This is not my money. It is yours. And you will not get in trouble for asking about what is yours. If I am irritated by the many questions about your pay, then guess what? Maybe I just need to pay you as soon as I can. Simple. I was told not to send this bad review because I would be reprimanded for speaking my mind. And I feared sending this because I am laid off from a career I went to college for and been there for 3 years. So I NEED People Ready until my employer calls me to return. I live alone. Nice home. Nice car. So that's rent and a lot of bills. And there are others just like me in the same situation struggling to stay afloat with no help or support. Most jobs offered pay only around minimum wage ($15) so we are already losing. A change needs to happen. Pettiness needs to be replaced with empathy. Be kind to your workers. Trust me, it'll go a long way😊

  Malcolm is awesome he always has work for me when I ask about jobs and I love to work with them and Amber the manger is wonderful she nice and respect people .
