- RGRidge GarlandApr 10, 20261.0My wife worked here for just a couple of months and the managers, HR, and supervisors DO NOT care about their employees. My wife is a type 1 diabetic and heaven forbid she had to keep herself alive during work hours. As a diabetic, she has to sit down for roughly ten minutes to eat or drink carbs in case her blood sugar levels dropped. With very physically demanding work, it dropped once or twice a day. My wife's doctor had sent notes to Bass Pro to make aware that its necessary for her to stay alive and that its illegal to discriminate against diabetics. Afterwards, the managers pulled her aside into an office and said "You should consider working somewhere else", "Your doctor needs to change your medicine to fit the job requirements." This place blatantly discriminates and will gladly make you hate your job and make you feel bad about it. Attached below is the 5th signed note my wifes doctor had sent to Bass Pro to make aware of her condition. Dont work here unless you're a machine who has 0 issues.
