Staff BEYOND rude. Don't expect to get anything accomplished here, even getting your mail, because they have an excuse for everything. "Misshipped", "Scanner Issues", "New Clerks", "Small Office"... you name it, they'll hand you an excuse for why a POST OFFICE can't even deliver mail correctly to their own PO Boxes, down to BS lines about how the USPS Informed Delivery tracker shows your mail as "arrived in PO Box" but it doesn't actually get PLACED in your PO Box for another 2-3 days, or how mail scanned on the same Informed Delivery service the USPS is scanned TWO WEEKS before they get it... scanned in a post office barely two (2) miles away. Don't let the locale fool you. Good neighborhood, but if you actually want ANYTHING done, like, oh, I don't know, getting your time-sensitive Certified, Insured mail delivered and not "misshipped" due to a "scanning error" by "new clerks", this is NOT the office for you. USPS could save a lot by fully restarting this office, or just shutting it down. Absolute train wreck of an office, with staff even worse.

Everyone expects everything all at once. Untitled citizens shouldnt have the freedom to express their feelings about a great service. I love our STL post office staff. I've never had an issue in my 8 years of using this location.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. Everyone said mail delivery downtown was a little bit of a hassle but little is an UNDERSTATEMENT. I have not had one package delivered that I have not had an issue with, even when I leave clear instructions for how to deliver the package, they blatantly don't follow them. At least 3 packages were marked as delivered yet never showed up. One showed up cut open with items missing. I've watched our mail guy put a "sorry we missed you" slip for one package in my mailbox without even attempting to knock. Also, he straight up told my boyfriend that other times if no one is home, he marks the package as delivered and puts it back on his truck to try to re-deliver the next day. So how am I supposed to know if a package was actually delivered if he just admitted he marks items as delivered when they aren't? Currently trying to call regarding the most recent one to not show and no one will answer and I'm on my FOURTH time trying to call. I PAY MONEY for these things I'm having delivered, I expect to receive them, as I rightfully should. Looking into way to bring this to a national USPS concern. This post office seriously needs a whole new staff or something.
