- SWSherrie WhiteheadApr 2, 20261.0The person delivering mail to our home was teasing my dog with the mail. I witnessed him play keep away through the mail slot in my door and told him to stop. He got ignorant and asked if I wanted mail. I shared this info with my spouse and found out out regular carrier has been doing the same thing. I was told it was because my dog of 30 pounds on the interior side of the door frightened them and they were afraid of being bit. My question, why would you put your fingers through the slot and how does my dog get his mouth outside the slot. No excuse for this kind of behavior. We have always had great mail carriers until this last switch. I’m disappointed and disgusted with the response I received and the behavior of these less than professional men.
