Today, July 9th, 2026 I was unloading a package from my vehicle which was parked in the drive-thru lane right outside the entrance when I was rudely approached by an employee who threatened to have me towed due to the location of my vehicle. I proceeded to mind my business and unload my package when the employee began shouting saying he would have my car towed while he was on the phone with someone about towing my vehicle (only parked in the lane for 5 minutes with hazards on). I felt that I was not required to respond to the shouting and proceeded to mind my business and move as quickly as possible. I then moved my vehicle and entered the building to ship out my packages only to find the employee shouting in the back of the building about me refusing to move my vehicle while unloading my packages. I got to the counter where I found another employee who refused to cover one of my previous labels with the new one. I then removed the old label and she proceeded to place the new one in the exact same place that the old one was. We then moved on to scanning the QR code for my second package which she kept saying was not working and I asked her to try again and she huffed and puffed then it magically began working. She said the reasoning was because the QR code was "probably too new" I then responded by saying it was a few days old and I have not had any issues previously. After I exited the building, I found the first employee looking for my vehicle in the parking lot probably in hopes of having it towed. I would not recommend visiting this branch.

I had a very disappointing experience at this post office. The employee who helped me was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
I understand that rules and procedures must be followed, but there is a respectful way to communicate with customers. No one should be made to feel unwelcome or talked down to because of where they come from or because they are asking for assistance.
Customer service should be about helping people, not making them feel embarrassed or judged. I left feeling upset and disappointed by the way I was treated. I hope management addresses this employee’s behavior so that future customers are treated with the respect and professionalism everyone deserves.

I’ve had mixed experiences here in terms of customer service— I don’t want to underplay that— BUT I wanted to leave a review in gratitude to Jeffrey, who was extremely helpful when I had an issue of outgoing packages not being scanned in (and therefore being unable to track them for several days). When I’ve had this issue in the past… unfortunately many times… I’ve often been dismissed or even treated rudely when I expressed concern about unscanned outgoing packages. Instead, Jeffrey took down my address and said he would remind my carrier about the importance of scans— AND he gave me the peace of mind of explaining what usually happens next and when I could probably receive an update on my package’s journey. If you need to use this post office, I definitely recommend him!

The last 3 times I have used this location I got attitude from both of the 2 individuals that are usually at the counter. The female worker had to complete what she was doing (nothing that needed to be done right then) for 2 minutes before she could get up off her chair to go get a package for me.
Another time she copt an attitude because the old label was still on the box. With a lot of attitude, he had to use a black marker to cross out the entire label. After over a minute of doing that, she put the new label exactly over the old one. On the second box I guess she decided she had taught me a lesson, because she did not have to cross out the entire label on that one. She was able to cover up the old label with the new one. Just like I suggested it would and how UPS always will do. Then she started giving me a lecture about using 2 boxes with the same label code. I tried to explain that there are 2 returns with 2 separate labels. But she cut me off with more of an attitude before she actually compared the codes again. To discover there was no issues. It seems to be true what others are saying about the attitude of these workers. I will go out of my way to avoid ever going to this location. Or better, I will try to only use Fed Ex or UPS.

Poor customer service!!!
I have visited the Affton Grasso Plaza location and never felt welcoming or helpful. Avoid this location if possible. They make up their rules and wants customers to follow that.
I just wanted to return a package with a prepaid label and QR code. Email from the vendor clearly says return in original packaging and show the QR code to USPS. The guy behind the counter will not take it unless i put it inside another packaging. He wanted me to buy packaging from them too. I refused and returned my package without any drama on the original packaging from Watson Rd USPS office.
