If I could give the Raymore location a ZERO I would! Terrible customer service. Mailed my P.O. box check from their drive thru on 7/22/26. Went in today to see why I hadn't received a receipt and they're staying they still didn't have my check. It's 12 mailing days later. Postal agent says they just don't have enough people, however I still get my bills in my box 1-2 days after they're postmarked. 🤔 This is the second time in a row this has happened. They've also lost a package I sent to a friend and wouldn't pay the insurance. I'm swapping my box to Harrisonville. I would highly suggest you skip this location and make the drive to any other post office.

Customer service is objectively terrible at Raymore. Even if you apologize for being there, they are still pissed. Raymore location is remarkably and consistently rude no matter how you act. It seems like a thrill to make it as difficult as humanly possible. I have seen it to all types of people. Also if you need a piece of tape, you need to buy it. Bucyrus would never do that. They are happy to see their regulars. It’s worth it to drive 30 minutes to the Bucyrus USPS. I get not liking your job or just having a bad day, we have all been there. Everyday is a bit much though. Will make time to not go here anymore. They have succeeded on getting less people in the door.

Everyone was polite and friendly, but totally useless. I mailed a small package/envelope to my daughter in WA. 2 weeks later I get the package returned and it is empty. There is a note from the post office saying they are sorry. I went up to the office where I mailed it and they said I had to go to the bigger branch across town to address my issue. I went there and they tried to tell me it is like paying for a phone and not using it. I said that is a ridiculous comparison, it is more like I payed for a phone and then it didn't work. Now I am out $10.50 and the contents of the package (a keepsake to my daughter from her mother who just passed). There is no way to get a refund for a problem caused by their incompetence. No wonder the post office is always in financial trouble, nobody wants to use them unless forced. As you can tell, I am very frustrated. Besides smiles and pleasant voices, I got 0 help.

This was my first time here, and I showed up at the last minute. I hate doing that to people. Veronica that works the front counter was still as nice as could be, and was even smiling and laughing with me. I look forward to coming back. Thanks Veronica!
