- CCcathyJun 12, 20262.0I needed to return an item to Amazon. I received the return label in an email. I was instructed to just seal up I package & put it in mailbox. And I did yesterday. Mailman doesn’t have a scanner to scan return label to begin the process. Today I went to the post office, showed the lady helping me the return shipping label from my email. Before she even looked at it she said she can't scan from an email?! They have in the past for me. So I return home with this item I still dont want. So I begin a chat with Amazon customer service and told her everything from the beginning. They understood my issue & politely returned my purchase price back to my bank. I'd been home mybe an hour & there's a knock at my door. It's my MAILMAN wanting to pick up my return!! Hahahaha I tell him Amazon already sent me a refund there was no need to give I t to him. Now. My biggest concern is this: If the mailman had with him some sort of pick up order, how come the lady At the post office insist on Not Scanning the return label I had?! Would that not have shown her my request was legit & was certainly able to be returned there, when i was?
