I have had an extremely frustrating experience with the Longview Post Office and the ongoing mail service in our neighborhood.
Our mail is frequently delivered very late, sometimes after 8:00 p.m. More recently, we went approximately a week without mail delivery because there was no carrier assigned to our route. When I went to the Longview branch to ask what was happening, I was told that if no one was available to deliver the mail, there was nothing they could do. During that time, I was expecting important pieces of mail that were never delivered and appear to have been lost. Because of these ongoing issues, I ultimately decided to place my mail on hold and pick it up myself.
Today, August 20, 2026, around 2:45 p.m., I went to the Longview branch to pick up my held mail. The clerk at the front desk (black light-skin lady with blonde hair ) was very rude and unfriendly. She checked for my mail and quickly returned saying there was nothing there. I asked to speak with a manager and explained the ongoing problems with our mail delivery and why I had placed my mail on hold.
The manager initially told me my mail wasn’t there and stated that there hadn’t been issues with mail not being delivered. I explained that there absolutely have been issues, which is exactly why I chose to have my mail held for pickup. She went back to search again, and this time, my mail was located—the same mail I had just been told wasn’t there.
What made the situation even more disappointing was that neither the clerk nor the manager apologized. I was simply handed my mail. As I was walking out, the manager shouted, “You’re welcome!” toward me.
The ongoing delivery problems are frustrating enough, but customers should not also have to deal with dismissive and disrespectful treatment when they come into the branch looking for mail that has been entrusted to USPS. The customer service and management at this location need serious improvement, along with better accountability for mail delivery in our neighborhood.

I don't like how the ups store changed. Only one employee working there. One day I stopped there and it was big line . I was waiting in line about 30 minutes. People see the big line and they leave. I have to find another place to do returns 😩 .

It's empty these days. Nevertheless, the one employee was patient and knowledgeable about me shipping overnight so made it easy.
