I had a very disappointing experience at the Farmington USPS. The employee who helped me was extremely rude for no apparent reason. We were polite, friendly, and even tried speaking to him with a smile, but he continued to be rude and unprofessional.
What bothered me even more was what I saw after we left. I watched him toss one of the packages across the room rather than handling it carefully and placing it where it belonged. After seeing that, I was honestly concerned about how customers’ packages are being handled.
I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but there is no reason to treat customers disrespectfully, especially when they are being polite to you. I hope management addresses this because customers deserve better service and packages deserve to be handled with care.
