I have seen really good customer service in my recent visits. One day I arrived to join a long line, but it moved quickly and got what I needed. I was given good direction on how to best handle a not-so-simple priority mail to a government office in another case.

Walked into this the post office with around 12 packages to ship. Since the main counters were closed, I used the self-service machine because the lobby and drop boxes were still open for customers to use. I placed one package into the drop box, but because there were already so many packages stacked behind it, the box became jammed and I couldn’t insert any of my remaining packages. I heard an employee in the back scanning packages, and there was a doorbell for assistance, so I rang it and politely asked if she could help unjam the drop box. She responded, “I’ll get it in a minute.” I went back to the self-service machine and finished labeling all my packages, which took about 15 minutes. Afterward, I checked the drop box again, but nothing had been done. At that point, I had already been there for around 25 minutes, so I rang the bell again and explained that I still had 11 more packages to drop off. I was ignored for another 8–10 minutes. I knocked once more and waited several more minutes with no response or assistance. I even went outside to see if there was another package drop box available, but there was only one for regular mail. When I came back inside, I finally heard the employee removing the stuck package. Frustrated after waiting so long, I said, “Thank you for your prompt response.” A bigger African American women with crazy makeup then unlocked the door, came out, and said, “Excuse me, we aren’t even open today. I don’t have to take any packages,” before walking away. Although she finally removed the stuck package, she then locked the drop box completely so I couldn’t place any of my remaining package inside. The entire experience felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. I ended up driving to a different post office to finish shipping my packages and will not be returning to this location again.

One of the worst experiences. Extremely frustrating customer service and the man at the counter was very rude.

Missing really important mails repeatedly. Mails from IRS, county, dmv and passport are never gonna be delivered. Staff has no clue.
