- GUGoogle UserOct 30, 20171.0Nov 2017: We can no longer rely on the Bridgeton post office to get our mail to where it needs to go in a timely manner. I used to think it was our fault, but it has happened too many times. Mail routinely gets lost, or takes way too long. The recent loss included business check made out to ATT, IRS, Credit Card company and more. Late charges, interest payments, and cancelled check fees. This is said. And like I said, not the first time. I would add that the carriers and tellers have always been friendly. UPDATE: 2/26/18 It happened it again. Shame on me for trying to use my local post office to send in a credit card payment. Sent 7 days prior to due date, and still charges late fees and interest. I should have known better. UPDATE 02/06/2019 Lost more mail. It has happened 2 or 3 times since my last update. But this time. it was employee retirement checks. Especially frustrating. Dropped them off at the Bridgeton Schnucks mail box. It would really be awesome to be able to trust my local PO.
