Terrible attitude. Definition of a disgruntled postal worker. At least the line was short & quick!

Visited this USPS location on June 13 at around 2:00 PM. The post office was completely empty except for one customer who was struggling to use the self-service kiosk. The employee working the counter, an older woman, refused to scan my prepaid package and directed me to the self-service machine instead. After waiting about 10 minutes while the other customer continued having difficulties with the kiosk, I returned to the counter and politely asked if she could scan my package. Despite there being no line and no apparent workload, she again refused. During this time, she appeared to be opening envelopes behind the counter rather than assisting customers. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it and instead asked for mine. I left disappointed by the lack of customer service and unwillingness to help, especially when the lobby was virtually empty. USPS customers deserve courteous service and reasonable assistance, particularly for a simple package acceptance scan. This experience was frustrating and unprofessional. I didn’t know USPS employs Karen’s too.

My husband went in today this morning to send something as he was being helped he overheard the white male worker engaging and agreeing with a customer who was making derogatory comments about Mexicans. As a Mexican American this made him very uncomfortable. Postal staff should not be engaging in any type of political and or agreeing with derogatory comments about someone’s ethnicity !

I never write review for anything but i just have to shout out Steven!. He is the the most paitient and loves to do his job. I applied for my passport and everything went smooth, I was outta there in 10 minutes. This is now my go to post office for passport services, way better than oceanside post office. I recommend coming prepared and double checking everthing before coming. and respecting other people appointment times.
