- AGaylin garciaAug 22, 20265.0I went in for a haircut a few weeks ago, but given that I was unsure exactly what style I wanted, I showed Samantha a few pictures and she quickly got to work , that was the first step into me falling in love with my hair again. Her customer service is amazing, she has very welcoming energy and asks the right questions to make sure she gives you exactly what you’re looking for. I recently went in to get a balayage, I was a bit scared because I hadn’t dyed my hair in so so long, but wanted to start off with a change that would look great and wasn’t too out of my comfort zone. Samantha explained to me step by step everything throughout my visit , from recommending products, to hair style recommendations. Don’t be afraid to ask questions, Samantha is great at making sure any doubts get answered and you leave feeling more knowledgeable and with BEAUTIFUL HAIR !!! (I always leave with a voluminous blowout ✨) I will definitely be a regular because she is THAT girl !!! 💗

Whoever hired her did a great job finding a gem amongst all the other stylist. Definitely coming back here again. Also I love the complementary drinks and the vibe or the shop.

The salon decor was clean & fresh and the amenities impressive - all the way down to the plants outside. The circles tickled me. Ayah is amazing. I was thrilled to find a licensed cosmetologist that could care for my curly, natural 4C hair- without offering a silk press. She really listened to my concerns and questions and thoroughly answered everything. My hair bounced and behaved in her hands. The entire staff even offered me lunch recommendations because I won’t familiar with the Upper Kirby area. By the time I left, you would have thought I’d been here before. SOK is a guarantee of Smiles on Kirby! 💜
