  The GO TO salon in the Austin area. I’ve gotten braids, twists, color, styling, and a silk press here. They offer everything! As well as, the luxury wash and products that they use to ensure your hair is taken care of. I have yet to walk out of this salon without feeling like a model. Highly recommend. The environment and offering of drinks, snacks, and even a portable desk so I can work at the same time is above and beyond.

  Oye and her team at Wa always take such great care of me on every visit. It's the best experience I've had in town for both braids and sew-ins. They know me, they know how I like my hair and they nail it everytime!

  Absolutely loved my experience! From the moment I walked in, the service and customer experience were top-notch. Oye was my hair stylist and truly worked her magic. She was timely, attentive, and made sure I left feeling amazing. The attention to detail was incredible, and I loved the final result! The drinks were such a fun added touch. Everything about the experience felt elevated and relaxing. Service, customer service, and drinks are all a 10/10! I’ll definitely be coming back.

  I've had such wonderful experiences at Wá Salon. The atmosphere is luxe, professional, calming, and welcoming, and everyone there is kind and remarkably good at their craft. Oye, the founder, has a discerning eye for hair health, maintenance, and style, and the salon reflects her intention and expertise in every detail. I've worked with Sophia, Beauty, and Corine, and each one is exceptional. Sophia is sweet, calm, and focused. She's meticulous and precise, with a real ability to understand and execute your vision. Beauty is warm, brilliant, and efficient, with an eye for detail that leaves me feeling gorgeous every time. Corine is sharp, patient, and accommodating. She blended my color beautifully and checked in throughout to make sure it was going the way I wanted, and I loved the flair and fullness she brought to the final look. I've come in for services like shampoo/conditioning treatment and protective styles, including the hybrid sew-in, the Zoey Kravitz, and knotless boho braids, and I've consistently left feeling confident and genuinely cared for. Highly recommend Wá Salon for thoughtful, skilled, and elevated hair care.

  I cannot recommend Wa Salon enough. I originally went in with the goal of finding a style that would support long-term hair health and help me grow my hair out, but I was honestly very nervous because I’ve had bad salon experiences in the past. This was completely different. Oye, the owner, and Ruby were both absolutely wonderful. They are extremely knowledgeable about different hair types and curl patterns, and they made me feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for from the moment I walked in. This is the first salon I have ever returned to for a second appointment because I was so happy with the level of service and the way they truly care about their clients. I received a braid down as a protective style and a wig, and Oye created a full plan to help me get my natural hair healthy and growing in time for my wedding next year. That level of thoughtfulness meant so much to me. If you have any doubts or anxiety about whether your hair will be taken care of properly, Wa Salon is the place to go. They are kind, skilled, knowledgeable, and intentional with their work. I highly recommend them!
