I got a perm ... If I had had Jamey my hair Would Be Curly ...
I am Very Disappointed with what I got ... The rollers weren't even Snug but the black woman would walk by and tell Wayd that she was doing a good job without Ever even Touching one of the Loose rods Wayd put in my hair ... She left hair Out of the rods and wrapped it around the rod after the plug was in place ... I have Wayd a $20 tip that I shouldn't have given her ... She was a Very Lazy person roller ... I am disgusted with this ... The first 5 inches At LEAST 4 IS NOT EVEN CURLED ... THEY SHOULD HAVE TO REDO THIS WITH JAMEY AS THEIR INSTRUCTOR ...

My mom is in a wheelchair and has to be cut in chair. They are always accommodating and today we got to sit side by side. We have never had a bad hair cut. We get clipper cut in back. We like it short for summer. The teacher came over and gave the girls some tips on blending it in after the clippers. Mom and I look so good. Thanks guys. Even better 10 mins from the house

I had a great experience the first time I went. I returned a second time and if you look at pic 4 n 5 … well it speaks for itself. I truly wanted to give a great review and the cut was good but the integrity of the beautician along with the instructor who knew this happened has caused me to never go back. I’m actually sad about this.

Loved my experience at Tennessee School of Beauty. The technicians are so sweet and professional, wished the facilities matched the knowledge and teaching level, the beds are like medical exam tables from the 70's ..would be nice if they updated the client comfort aspect. I will definitely continue to go there and recommend their services to my friends and family.

I had an appointment booked for a color remover and full set of highlights, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. After arriving, they did a test strand and found my black box dye wouldn’t lift well, which I understand can happen. However, I was then told my only options were warm highlights or none—and even then, they could only do the crown of my head, despite me booking a full highlight in advance.
This was really frustrating because I had to arrange childcare for my baby, drive an hour, and wait two weeks for this appointment. Better communication ahead of time would have made a big difference.
The stylist, Christina Russel, seemed disengaged and didn’t communicate much during the appointment. She also mentioned a previous client experiencing damage and hair loss during a color correction, which wasn’t reassuring. I also felt the service itself was a bit rough at times.
I will say the instructor was very kind and offered a complimentary wash, conditioning treatment, blow dry, and style, which I appreciated.
Overall, I understand that not all hair goals can be achieved in one visit, but the lack of communication and professionalism made this a frustrating experience.
