  Sarah did a color correction yesterday and gave me the brunette balayage I dreamed of. . This was after some highlights that just didn't match my skin tone or desires at all. My daughter has had beautiful color and balayages done here multiple times. I came in optimistic and hopeful. I can't speak highly enough of these ladies and the care and thought they put into their work. They didn't just meet my expectations that exceeded them. Most talented team in State College for beautiful color.

  Another terrific men’s haircut from Sarah V. at Designer’s Denn! Love her, loved her work (the last cut lasted 6 weeks, and grew in great), love the shop’s staff. Already booked to come back.

  Sarah Vollmar literally saved my hair that was fried from a previous salon. She is the best hair stylist I have ever had! She chose the most perfect shade of blonde for me! I dont even live in state college area and I drive an hour for her to do my hair. Very talented stylist!!

  Sarah was amazing! She does a wonderful balayage and haircut that’s lasts months! A busy mom’s godsend. Worth every penny. She also cuts my 3 year olds hair and is so good with her.

She is truly talented at what she does — from cuts and color to helping you figure out what products actually work best for your hair. Sarah is one of those stylists who really listens to what you want, but also has the experience and eye to make suggestions when you’re not quite sure. She pays attention to the little details, never makes you feel rushed, and genuinely wants you to leave her chair loving your hair. Whether you’re looking for a completely new look, a fresh cut, beautiful color, or just finally trying to find a stylist you can trust — go see Sarah. She’s incredibly talented, down-to-earth, and makes you feel comfortable from the minute you sit down. Finding a great hairstylist isn’t always easy, but Sarah is definitely one of the good ones. ❤️ Highly recommend her for all things hair!
