  BEST HAIRCUT EVER!! Just moved here for college and this is hands down the best salon in the area. I have long hair and Melinda gave me the exact cut I wanted. And a perfect blowout!!! Everyone I met was so kind, from the receptionist to the other stylists! I already have my next cut booked!

  I recently brought my daughter in for hair, makeup, and nails for her prom, and she had a great experience. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff were very welcoming and even made us fresh cappuccinos. Whitney did her hair and makeup. I’ve never seen such a big smile on her face. She kept saying how beautiful she felt, and everything held up all day and looked great both in person and in photos. Danielle did her manicure and pedicure and was incredibly detailed and kind. My daughter is very shy but Danielle was able to make her feel comfortable. It’s clear the staff here care about what they do and the people they work with. I really appreciated how special they made the day for her. We’ll definitely be back.

  I have been seeing Sarah Vollmar for almost 3 years now and she is truly amazing! She colors my hair better than anyone else ever has. She has found a way to cover my grays without a lot of maintenance and my hair always grows out beautifully! I always joke that she's a color ninja! She also listens and offers suggestions of what she think will look good. She takes a lot of pride in her work and wants her customers to be happy. I can't recommend her enough!

  I moved here from Nashville four years ago and really missed my hair stylist...until I met Sarah. A friend recommended her and I was sold. Sarah Vollmar is the only person in State College who I trust to color my hair! She knows the best tone for my complexion and she's an ace with cutting and styling my curls. She was borne to do hair and make people feel their best. It's her super power. 🦄

  I can't recommend my stylist, Sarah Vollmar, at Designer’s Denn enough. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and listened to. She really took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave thoughtful suggestions that made the final result even better than I could have imagined. I got highlights and a base color done, and the results are absolutely beautiful. Everything blends so naturally and looks so fresh. Her attention to detail, skill, and professionalism truly stand out. If you're looking for someone who genuinely cares about her clients and delivers amazing results, every time, Sarah V. is your person. I'II definitely be coming back! She also does the best blowouts and her curling technique is amazing!!!
