  David cuts hair amazingly and he is a talented colorist. I have been going to the salon for more than 5 years. Service is always reliable and everyone always are very accommodating and polite. Highly recommend David and his salon.

  I bought a partial Groupon voucher and came in with a simple request: blonde highlights close to the root, with a reference photo ready. The stylist told me he “doesn’t know my hair,” removed the foils quickly, and my hair immediately entered its orange era. The owner came over to reassure me everything looked great, which was impressive considering half my head was auditioning for a PUMPKIN spice commercial. I returned for a correction, and the process somehow became even more chaotic. Only the top section was mostly turned blonde, while the sides and back were barely touched. Multiple people checked the foils throughout the appointment, and I was told my hair “sets slowly,” which felt like a convenient explanation rather than a real solution. Final result: Blonde spots Orange spots Uneven coverage Highlights nowhere near the root A surprise parquet-floor pattern on top of my head On my second visit, my SUNGLASSES disappeared after being left on the table. I reported it immediately, but there was no follow-up, no attempt to locate them, no callback, and no resolution from either the front desk or the owner. I also paid extra on top of the Groupon and still did not receive what I originally asked for and -200$ from missing sunglasses.😎 Between the inconsistent color, being pressured to accept the result, and the complete lack of accountability regarding my missing sunglasses during the second visit, this was one of the worst salon experiences I’ve had.

  Upon entering David Ezra Salon, I immediately was welcomed by reception and directed to head upstairs to the spa area for my facial. Anifa, the esthetician with whom I had booked the appointment, warmly greeted me, showed me to the treatment room which already was set up, gave me directions, and asked if there was anything I needed before the treatment began. This was my second time with Anifa and I’ve already scheduled another appointment with her in three months! It was wonderfully relaxing and Anifa answered all my questions professionally. The salon and spa areas were clean, nicely decorated, and set the mood to enjoy the services. I’m looking forward to my next appointment!

  I had a frustrating experience at this salon due to both the booking process and the service itself. The online booking system was very confusing. I started by selecting a women’s haircut, but the website redirected me to another page with additional options. I selected a scalp massage treatment, assuming it would be added to my haircut appointment, and I also included a note requesting a blow dry. When I arrived, I was told that I had only booked the treatment and blow dry—not the haircut. Since there wasn’t enough time in the schedule, they initially said they couldn’t do the haircut at all. I explained that the main reason I came was for the haircut, and the only solution offered was to have the haircut done without a blow dry, meaning I would have to leave with wet hair. I agreed because getting my haircut was my priority. Unfortunately, the haircut itself was also disappointing. I clearly told the stylist that I wanted my hair cut straight across and only about two inches removed. After finishing, he informed me that he had added his “personal touch” and cut it into a U-shape instead. This was never discussed with me beforehand, and I was not asked for approval. I specifically requested a straight cut, so it was frustrating to leave with a different result than what I had asked for. To make matters worse, I was charged the full price, including the blow dry, even though I did not receive one. The total cost was very expensive, and I did not feel that the service I received justified the amount charged. Overall, I believe the salon should improve the clarity of its online booking system and ensure that stylists follow the client’s instructions or discuss any changes before making them.
