  It was a bit weird. I had an appointment for myself and my daughter for 11 AM. When we walk in the salon has just one person who is waiting for the haircolor to set in. The salon people come and ask if we have an appt - when I say yes............they give a look to each other and ask if each of them is free. I was just about to walk out when one of them said an exasperated yes. My child went first - her haircut was done well. I went next - I asked for a specific layer cut - she cut my hair well, but not how I wanted it - the layers just do not show. Not complaining about the haircut............. but, the whole experice just left me a bit dissapointed and a feeling that 'ohhhh we did you just a huge favor' I have been going here once or twice a year (we like to grow our hair) for quite some time - this was the first time it felt really weird.

  Dana came recommended by my son's cousin and she's great with my 3 yo son. We came to her with long curly hair and over three visits helped us and my son slowly brought his hair from shoulder length to #3 clippers. My son leaves confident about his look and his experience with Dana. He enjoys her shampoos

  I would just like to say that Christina has been my hairdresser for a long time now and she is excellent. Very knowledgeable and I love the way she does my hair. She’s very pleasant and easy to talk to. She does a wonderful job. However, there was a lady that did my hair last time. I do not know her name. All I know is she was big work glasses. I think she had blonde hair. She would not cut my hair the way I wanted. It was A simple cut with a few layers at the bottom. Since she didn’t wanna do that cut, I showed her another one which was very simple very easy to do and she would not do that one either. However, she did do the layers, but I want the layers at the bottom and she did them on an angle, which is not what I want it. She was not going to blow dry it. It was around winter time and she was just going to let me leave with soaking wet hair to walk up to Nassau Park, but I talked to her into blow drying my hair. She was very rude. She told me that Christina was back and that she was in the back Room and later she said that Christina didn’t even come that day. And then she got real nasty and was raising her voice to me and saying well I’m not Christine in a very nasty way. She also said that Christina was never my hairdresser, which is false cause Christine has always been my hairdresser. She was not nice. She was very rude and not professional at all. My personal opinion, she should not be working there if she’s going to be rude to clients. I have said it before but christina is the best highly recommend her as far as the other lady that was the first and last time I ever go to her.

  I hate to write this review as I have been going to hair Cuttery for many years now. Today I had very bad experience.. Girl who cut my hair did not know one thing about cutting hair. She was very new and young and could not even hold scissors properly... instead of light spray she poured whole lot of water and all the hair stuck to my face.. Students should not practice hair cutting on customer's head.. highly disappointed. Owners, please take a note or you will loose good customers..

  I have been getting my hair cut here for the last few years for their reasonable package prices and really great stylists and the good treatment they give. Always had a good experience so far and that definitely helps reduce anxiety. Appreciate this find and prefer to keep coming here. I don’t blame them for prices increasing each year, but sure do hope it doesn’t increase further. My hair is extra length and wavy and my cut usually includes steps, layers, and face framing. I usually book with any available stylist and so far have been very pleased with my haircuts from Carol Beth, Ciara, and Ariana. Thank you for taking care of me well. Hope the good experience continues in all future visits. Advice for other customers is to be specific and clear from the start about what you want if you do have something in particular in mind.
