- NBNave Bailey2 days ago2.0This Sephora is normally very busy, but today was a slow day so I didn’t expect all the associates to pretend to be overworked. I greeted the first associate who did not say hi back. Then my sister spoke to another associate who paused to decide if she wanted to speak back. She ended up looking annoyed and saying we have to give her a minute. Finally, Adriana helped me with no problem and then ran to assist at the register since the line was building up. Her and another woman with curly hair who works in fragrance seemed to be the only ones ready to work. This Sephora needs help!

I simply came in asking for a Sephora bag since the purchase was a gift. The manager on duty repeatedly argued with me about “store policy” in front of a line of customers instead of simply asking for proof of purchase or handling the situation professionally. No receipt or order confirmation was ever requested. After contacting customer service, I was informed there should not have been an issue providing a bag for an online gift purchase. I’ve genuinely never experienced something this unprofessional over a simple gift bag request. She than asked me why I didn’t add the gift request when ordering, when I never saw an option for a bag, only a virtual card. The interaction felt unnecessarily embarrassing and dismissive as a paying customer.
