  My daughter wanted a specific way to have her hair dyed purple and Maddie was sweet, professional and confident with working with my daughter. My daughter is very happy w her hair!

  I’ve been going to Nick for close to 10 years. I wouldn’t trust anybody else with my hair. He listens. He asked great questions and he make sure you leave feeling fabulous. My color is amazing. My cut is fantastic. He is just the best.

  I have been going to this salon for the past few years. Their work is ok - not the best salon I’ve been to but not the worst. The main reason I won’t be returning is the RUDE male owner. I believe his name is Anthony. I wouldn’t know because he’s never even cracked a smile in the years I’ve been going there. I asked a question to him once when I was there and he barely acknowledged me. Extremely ignorant and poor behavior for an owner. The woman owner does at least acknowledge you with a hello or nod. But him? Nope. I refuse to spend between 350 and 600 at my appointments for someone to make me feel unwelcome. At my last visit while walking out I said goodbye because he was standing there and he didn’t even reply. Rude man! I won’t be giving him another cent. Learn how to be a businessman with some class. Edited to add: the response from the owners below is nothing more than a generic reply. I’m taking my business elsewhere. For the prices you are charging, I can go to a salon on Madison Avenue in NYC instead of a rundown salon in Montclair, NJ.

  My hair is too short, too dark. I am not happy at all. Layers were done on me I didn’t request layers. $350 for me being unhappy. Nicole the owner did my hair, she texted me saying the only thing she can do is give me hair cut. A hair cut?? Do you wanna leave me with no hair? If the owner can’t fix this how can I expect anyone else in the salon can. You didn’t asked me how much length to cut you assumed to do layers I never asked you for layers. You simply wanted to get rid of as much hair as possible. My hair looks black, I told you I wanted to go lighter brown to prepared for blond highlights and then you had the audacity to show me a picture to do Caramel high lights. Of course because you knew after putting that dark color you damaged my hair. I told you what I wanted the first day I saw you. I am super disappointed and I will not recommend anyone to come here. I will keep my hair barely in a ponytail because my hair is sooo short thanks to Vanity Salon.
