    I cannot say enough amazing things about Rafa at Hoboken Sephora. Truly the best Sephora employee I have ever met. Rafa completely transformed my beauty routine with thoughtful, expert product recommendations and took the time to genuinely educate me on what works best for me. The level of knowledge, care, and customer service was exceptional. I walked in overwhelmed and left feeling confident, excited, and honestly like a customer for life. Sephora is incredibly lucky to have someone this talented and passionate on their team.

    Got a black eye and have never used makeup before but was starting a new position and needed to mask it. Ace and the team picked the right products taught me how to use them and took the time to figure out how to hide it like the experts they are. Such an awesome experience. Thank you to them!!!

    The selection is a little overwhelming if you don't know what to look for, but Arianna approached me and was incredibly helpful for my very specific needs. She even gave me a skin scan, which was more informative than my dermatologist. I feel out of place in most cosmetic shops like this, but Arianna really made me feel welcome and fully prepared.

    I visited this Sephora location on January 31st around 2 PM to look for a blush product. When I first entered the store, no one greeted me, which I initially did not mind. However, the problem started when I asked a sales associate for help. I was looking for a blush with a built-in brush, but I could not remember the exact product name. Instead of trying to help, the associate responded in a sarcastic and dismissive tone, saying he did not know and making comments like, “Most blushes come with a brush” His attitude was rude and unprofessional. He made no effort to assist me. After that interaction, I asked another employee for help. This employee was also cold, only saying “no” with an unpleasant look. What made this even more disturbing is that I saw these same employees treating other customers kindly and professionally. As an Asian customer, this experience felt discriminatory and deeply disrespectful. This level of customer service is completely unacceptable. The employees involved should face serious consequences for their behavior, and this store urgently needs proper staff retraining.
