Absolutely unacceptable experience at SalonCentric. I was sent to grab a single box of foils for my wife, who was in the middle of servicing a client and couldn’t leave the salon. She has an active account in their system, and this is something we’ve done before without issue. Yet somehow this time, a simple pickup turned into a power trip over “policy.”
Instead of helping a professional customer in a legitimate last-minute situation, the staff refused to sell me the foils under her account and acted like I was attempting to run some underground beauty supply black market over ONE BOX OF FOILS. The manager’s attitude was unbelievably condescending and completely devoid of common sense or customer care.
Their “solution” was even more absurd: have her stop working, place an online order while actively with a client, and then wait 45 minutes for them to hand over a product that was already sitting on the register counter in front of me. Completely inefficient, unnecessary, and disrespectful to working professionals who depend on businesses like this to actually support salons, not create more problems. Needless to say, I left empty handed.
What should have been a two-minute courtesy transaction turned into wasted time, stress, and disruption in the middle of a booked workday. Policies are one thing, but hiding behind them while showing zero flexibility, zero empathy, and zero practical judgment is terrible customer service.
We’ve never had an issue like this before, but after this experience, we won’t make the mistake of relying on SalonCentric again.

Store purchases may be returned to a store with a valid receipt. SalonCentric.com & Salon Business Partner orders with a value of $150 or less can be returned to your local SalonCentric store with your packing slip or invoice, dated within ninety (90) days of the purchase invoice (excluding electrical items and shears).
Electrical items and shears may be requested within sixty (60) days of purchase and will be refunded or exchanged only with original receipt, packing slip, or invoice. Refunds will be processed as a SalonCentric gift card. At this time, SalonCentric.com does not accept gift cards at checkout.
