  My daughter and I came in together for service. I had April and she had Mary.. Both stylists really hit it out of the park with us today! I’m extremely impressed. I was less than thrilled the last time I paid a very high-end salon for my daughters “fun” colors, so take it from me, do not discount the hair cuttery, and definitely don’t underestimate these two stylists!!! They both crushed it!

  My first visit to Hair Cuttery paired me with Ellen, she did a fantastic cut to my already short hair. I was appreciative that she cut my hair per my requests and was super patient with me! How many requests can one ask for??!! :) Ellen is a professional, patient, and has a great sense of humor as well! Will look forward to our next cut 💇🏻& I thank you Ellen S for making my day ! 😊

  Highly recommend going to this hair Cuttery. Ellen has been cutting my hair for years, always does a great job, very personable, fun to talk to, and makes my day every time!

  Tonight I brought my disabled mother to the Hammonton Hair Cuttery at 6:45 PM, and was asked if I had an appointment. The hair Cuttery is a walk-in Salon and should accommodate walk-ins as is advertised. I brought her in her wheelchair through the rain to try to get her haircut and was turned away. She asked me if I would like to book an appointment. Are you not doing walk ins?? I really felt like she should have tried to accommodate us or allow us to wait. It was a lot to make it in there. She had nobody waiting and an hour and 15 minutes more for the close of business. You are getting a 1 and I will NEVER come back!!

  The reason it’s not 1 star: the stylist was very friendly. And she did a good job on my daughter’s hair. The reason it’s 2 stars: I came in with about 5-6” of growth on top. (I’m a man). I usually ask for a variation of the the same thing. 0 high and tight fade. Fading down to skin. And a thick hard part. The only variation is the length on top. And this time I just wanted it cleaned up. I wanted to keep the length. Well, long story short (pun) I looked up and she had cut off almost all the length I wanted to keep. What was 5-6” is now 1.5-2”! And that’s annoying but not the end of the world. Not what I asked for but I can live with that. The worst part was the hard part. The thick line I was expecting was twice the thickness I was expecting. I had her try to fix it but it was no use. Usually the line is 1/4” but this line was a solid inch. And it looks really bad. Never did she ask me how much length to take off or start with a slim line and ask if I want larger (like all the other stylists I usually get). I was not asked for any feedback till the end when the damage had been done. I honestly wanted to go to another hair place to have it fixed after I left. But it was too late in the day. She seemed inexperienced and after she saw I didn’t like it, told me I should bring a picture in next time. Ugh! Sorry you only get one shot. No next time.
