- JHJess HApr 16, 20261.0I brought my teenage daughter into your salon last Tuesday 4/7 for a blonde highlight face frame only appt. Not only did the highlights turn out chunky and orange, but they were applied further back on her head than just the frame of her face, as requested. Since my daughter and I both were not happy with the results, we requested an attempt to fix her hair, which was gladly accepted by the stylist. We showed the photo again of the color and style we were requesting, and it was agreed upon that the stylist would darken the unwanted highlights with lowlights, and attempt to frame the face with another round of blonde. Unfortunately, the 2nd attempt turned out way worse than the 1st with more chunky, orange “highlights” and reddish roots where the stylist tried to cover the blonde from the 1st attempt. After observing our frustration, a patient, knowledgeable male stylist intervened in an attempt to help advise us as to what to do next, since my daughter refused to leave the salon and go out in public in that condition. At that point, we all decided it was best to just dye her entire head back to brown, as close to her natural color as possible, and eliminate all highlights. After over 4 hours of sitting in the chair, my daughter left the salon with brown hair with a reddish tint, and a wet head because she couldn’t sit any longer. Obviously, we were extremely disappointed at this appointment since we use Hair Cuttery often. Although it was our first time at this location, the reviews were amazing, so we felt confident in our decision to book it. Sadly, we regret it. Posting 1 picture of what we requested, 1 of the 1st attempt, 3 of the 2nd attempt.
