The student missed a strand of gray her on the side front of my hair and when I got home some on the front.
The problem is that they can’t fix it the same day because they are leaving earlier than expected.
The teacher said they will fix it but they can do it in 15 minute bec they have to leave early.
I can’t come back another day because I’m going on a short trip reason why I’m getting the hair color.
What worse is the way they spoke to me . As if it a game . Suggesting to me to buy a root touch up from Walgreens. And the teacher said to pull that gray hair .
I’ve been coming here for 12 years but this is the worst experience ever. They are so
dismissive of the problem. And when I say I’m not coming back here anymore the lady in the front desk said , that’s fine .
The worst customer service I’ve seen. We don’t just teach our students to do their job well but most important is how you deal with customers complain.
. And to think that this Monday .. I have more to say but I don’t even know if anything would change
Thanks for reading.

I took my two daughters here today for back-to-school braids. My youngest daughter’s hair came out beautiful and was completed in a reasonable amount of time. The only issue during her appointment was the language some of the stylists were using around her. I do want to note that she was switched a couple times before she got to her.
My older daughter’s experience was very different. Her hair was already washed and blow-dried, and she was getting half cornrows and half individual braids, yet her appointment took over 4 hours. I understand that the stylists are learning, but the bigger concern for me was the lack of communication and accountability. I was told the style could be done in 2 hours. At about 3.5 hours, I asked a teacher to have the stylist stop at the 4-hour mark. That request was disregarded, the appointment continued for another hour, and I was ultimately charged for 5 hours.
I’m sharing this because I think the business could benefit from addressing both customer service and accountability with the stylists, particularly when students are working on clients. My daughters’ experiences were very different, and while one appointment went well, the other left me questioning whether the training adequately addresses professionalism, communication, and respecting a client’s time.

Julio was nervous as everyone is while learning to do anything in life. He was very pleasant and polite. Julio did a fantastic job and didn’t have to be nervous at all. The shampoo and conditioning was a very gentle head massage. That was the best.

Nick and the teacher on site were phenomenal. I went on Monday August 24 2026 and it was an amazing experience. They were great in explaining everything that was going to be done and asked along the way if everything was okay. I left very much happy with my hair and the results. I plan on returning soon.
