Service Skills suck! I called to ask a question about a product so I don’t have to come in for no reason, as usual I was super kind asking and I got a really nasty unprofessional response. Don’t work if you can’t have the right manners as an adult to even answer a question!

The supervisor on the floor seriously needs a class on customer service. If you don’t like dealing with people, get off the floor.
I was waiting for help and could literally hear someone on the earpiece saying a customer was waiting. I was standing right behind her when she loudly and snappily replied, “She needs to wait, we’re short staffed.” And I know she made sure I heard it because the associate I originally asked came back and repeated almost the exact same thing apologetically: “Sorry for the wait, someone will be with you. Sorry, we’re short staffed.” Funny how one employee knew how to say it professionally and the other clearly didn’t.
Thankfully, Jeanette stepped in and was genuinely lovely and helpful. Because of HER, I still spent around $200 on products.
Last minute, I needed a serum. The package was ALREADY OPENED and leaking, so I had to open and look at it since it was the last one. My mistake was asking the nasty supervisor for help because she immediately got loud saying, “THAT’S WHY WE TELL CUSTOMERS NOT TO OPEN BOXES.” Maybe keep an eye on the customers before me before trying to publicly “call someone out.”
Then I said the serum felt watery, she said well it’s like a toner. You need a moisturizer and I said I didn’t want another moisturizer layer after serum because I was already buying a tinted moisturizer to wear on top. She kept aggressively pushing, “Well you HAVE to wear moisturizer day and night.” No, actually, you don’t know my skin type, my routine, or what works for me. Working at Sephora doesn’t suddenly make you a dermatologist. And if your own skincare advice is supposedly so flawless, maybe it should be reflecting a little better before talking down to customers like you know everything.
There’s a huge difference between being knowledgeable and being condescending. One makes customers want to shop. The other makes them never want to come back.
Send her back to training please. Reading multiple reviews about a rude supervisor, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was same person. I was there today hour before closing time.

I am honestly shocked by how I was treated today. I accidentally dropped a food container and a few small pieces fell on the floor. I apologized immediately, but instead of helping, a manager threw a container of wet wipes in front of me and told me to clean it myself in front of a line of customers.
My hands were full, and when I politely asked for help, she refused and said, “I can’t touch something that came out of your mouth.” This was said loudly, in front of everyone, and was incredibly humiliating.
I was left bending down and cleaning the floor myself like I was being punished for an accident. I have never felt so disrespected and embarrassed in a store before. This is completely unacceptable behavior, especially for a brand like Sephora.
