    I had a disappointing experience at this Sephora location. My father and I came in because he wanted to redeem a fragrance voucher from one of the sample packs. Unfortunately, the cashier opened the voucher before checking whether the cologne he selected was actually in stock. We were then told it was unavailable. When I asked whether it could be ordered for delivery or if another location had it, I was simply told they didn’t have it. Since my father couldn’t redeem the voucher for the fragrance he wanted, he decided not to proceed with the purchase. What bothered me most was the cashier’s attitude. As we asked questions and tried to find a solution, she became noticeably impatient and frustrated. Inventory issues happen, but customer service and professionalism matter. Having worked in customer service myself, I understand the challenges of retail, which is why I know how important patience and courtesy are when helping customers. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and put a negative end to what should have been a simple shopping trip. I hope management takes customer service seriously, because experiences like this can affect whether customers choose to return.

    Bad customer service I don't think I don't think the staff are knowledgeable about the products or what suits different skin types—even regarding the simplest items. I bought a contour product that the salesperson claimed was from the "best brand," but when I asked my daughter, she told me that brand wasn't good and caused breakouts. When I went back to exchange it and explained the reason, the salesperson said, "Not every skin type reacts the same way; it might not happen to you." Why didn't she say that in the first place so I could decide for myself, instead of just telling me it was the best brand? Personally, I don't think I'll be returning to this shop; it’s not a place I can trust.

    I had to write a very special review on Sephora Edgewater, Every time I visit this store, every person there is so friendly and welcoming. I do have to give a special shout-out to Vanessa, where do I even start with how much I appreciate her! She is so professional and she is gifted with knowing how to help you with shades of foundation, concealer to anything you need when it comes to makeup. She is young but she is very mature and so talented. Sephora Edgewater is so blessed to have her. She really knows how to treat a customer with respect and care. I felt that she really listened to my needs and she was able to help me find the perfect foundation match that no other sephora associate was able to do. Kudos to such a wonderful young lady who really cares about what she does and you can see that she wants to help! Thank you for going above and beyond Vanessa! You made my experience at Sephore such a memorable and special one!
