  I visited the store on Sunday and had a bad customer service experience; the manager was incredibly arrogant and had a bad attitude when I asked about the price of some "Clean Face" wipes and later tried to exchange a spray bottle that turned out to be broken. I won't be going back there, and I don't recommend it.

  As a regular at this store, I felt the need to share what a helpful & pleasant staff. My questions are always welcomed and I tend to always leave thinking about how personable of an experience I had. Most recently, a staff member by the name of Ashley went above and beyond when I called about potentially leaving my wallet behind. Regardless of my concern, the team consistently provides outstanding service. Items are normally in stock, and the location is also prime. I love Sephora Edgewater :-)

  I had a disappointing experience at this Sephora location. My father and I came in because he wanted to redeem a fragrance voucher from one of the sample packs. Unfortunately, the cashier opened the voucher before checking whether the cologne he selected was actually in stock. We were then told it was unavailable. When I asked whether it could be ordered for delivery or if another location had it, I was simply told they didn’t have it. Since my father couldn’t redeem the voucher for the fragrance he wanted, he decided not to proceed with the purchase. What bothered me most was the cashier’s attitude. As we asked questions and tried to find a solution, she became noticeably impatient and frustrated. Inventory issues happen, but customer service and professionalism matter. Having worked in customer service myself, I understand the challenges of retail, which is why I know how important patience and courtesy are when helping customers. The interaction left us feeling unwelcome and put a negative end to what should have been a simple shopping trip. I hope management takes customer service seriously, because experiences like this can affect whether customers choose to return.
