  Olena and her team did a fabulous job doing hair and makeup for my June 2026 wedding! The salon is very bright and spacious, the team did a great job coordinating the order for hair and makeup, they let us have lunch there and even bring in coolers for refreshments. That part of the day was efficient and relaxing. The team is incredibly skilled and wanted each girl to feel and look their best. Even on a super windy 90 degree day, I felt like everyone's hair and makeup held up very well! This team knows what they are doing, and you can absolutely count on them to help you look gorgeous on your wedding day!

  Five stars for Farba House of Beauty! The teamwork here is absolutely unmatched-Katie and Olena are a true dream team. They coordinated so beautifully to deliver the most stunning Airtouch blonding result. The blend is incredibly seamless, bright, and healthy. The customer service from the entire staff was warm and professional from start to finish. I cannot recommend this salon enough!

  My experience at Farba Beauty was phenomenal! I had both a hair and makeup trial and then I final appointment for my sister’s wedding where I was MOH. I’m so glad I did the trials because it helped Katie, Mecia, and myself hone in on the vision I had. Katie created GORGEOUS Hollywood waves for me. She really took her time to make sure every piece of my hair was perfect. I couldn’t stop looking at my hair after it was complete. We realized during the trial that I would need tighter curls on the day of the wedding because my hair falls easily. So my hair looked AMAZING on the day of the wedding. Mecia was PHENOMENAL. My makeup at my makeup trial was beautiful. I told her I genuinely haven’t felt that beautiful in YEARS. I did have some feedback for Mecia regarding my makeup as it lasted throughout the day of the trial and she was very patient, understanding, and kind about my concerns and I really felt heard (I have rosacea and it started to peak out at the end of the night). Mecia took all my concerns and feedback and applied it to the actual appointment and my makeup was ABSOLUTELY STUNNING AND FLAWLESS! She subdued my rosacea with slightly more coverage while still having my skin looking like skin. And despite the ceremony being in a hot summer evening in June and dancing the night away at the ceremony, my makeup DID NOT MOVE. I was genuinely shocked in the best way. Katie and Mecia do beautiful work and they really try to make sure all your preferences are met before you leave so that you feel your best walking out of your appointments. First photo (burgundy shirt) was my hair and makeup trial and the other photos (Pink shirt) were the day of the wedding. Highly recommend!

  Mecia is an amazing stylist! I’ve been getting my hair cut by her for 2 years and loving it each time. She also did my hair for my wedding. She put me at ease and made the whole process so enjoyable and fun on a stressful day! She’s super friendly and easy to talk to and I always leave loving my haircut. 10/10 would recommend Mecia and the team at Farba.

  I live in Oregon now, but I still wait until I’m back in Grand Rapids to book an appointment with Olena because I truly haven’t found anyone who compares. I’ve tried so many stylists/salons and no one does as beautiful of a job as she does. She is incredibly talented, is an absolute professional, and always makes me feel so confident. I also love spending time with her, so it’s a win-win! Olena also completely saved my eyebrows! I used to struggle to find someone I trusted, and now I don’t let anyone touch them except Olena. She knows exactly what suits my face and gets them perfect every single time. Beyond the amazing work, everyone at Farba House of Beauty is so kind and welcoming. I have also had my hair done by Katie and she did a stunning job and is a wonderful person! They always offer coffee or tea, which is such a thoughtful touch, and the salon itself is absolutely gorgeous. Olena and her husband did most (all?) of them work themselves! The space feels calm, luxurious, and is so beautiful. If you’re looking for someone you can trust completely, I can’t recommend Olena and Farba House of Beauty enough.
