  I have never gone to a salon who took the time & effort to ensure my desired style & color. I have been struggling with transitioning to a hair color to blend my gray with my natural color. As well as, improve the health & fuzzy, brittle texture of my hair. Kirsten & the team at Rustic Salon used highlights, low lights & toners to customize a multi dimensional hair color blending with my gray hair perfectly. She cut & styled my hair in a classy layered look. She also guided me to using the right products to ensure the health of my hair. I drive 3 hours back to my home town of Ankeny to get my hair done at Rustic Salon. The drive is well worth it. I recommend Rustic Salon to everyone.

  I have been coming here since I was young (before Rustic Salon, was Hair West 🤪) and my hair has never been softer, shinier, and healthier!!!! I’ve gone to three other salons once while I’ve come to RS, and nothing compares! Kaitlyn is the only one who knows my hair type and texture the best and works her magic! Along the way, I’ve had the pleasure of Ana, Kirsten, Hailey, and Nicole (miss you!) do my hair as well. These ladies are a TEAM and it’s so refreshing to see such a positive culture between them in order to get the best results. I love Rustic Salon and will be a lifelong customer as long as I can! ❤️
