  I had such an exceptional experience at Talio Hair with Giuseppe. I came in with so much thick hair that my head genuinely looked bigger than the rest of me 😂 — and somehow left looking like my proportions had been restored. Short, thick hair can be surprisingly difficult to cut well. My usual problem is that stylists either cut it way too short or remove so much that I lose the soft, feminine shape I want. Giuseppe understood this immediately. What really stood out was how much time he took before even starting. He sat with me, listened to what I wanted, discussed different options, and pulled up reference photos so we could figure out the right direction together. He never rushed the process, and you can tell he really understands shape, texture, and how a haircut should work with the person wearing it. The result was exactly what I wanted: lighter and beautifully shaped, but still feminine. The whole experience honestly reminded me of a haircut I once had in Paris with a highly sought-after stylist who specialized in cutting hair. Getting an appointment with him took months and cost significantly more. I rarely find that same level of attention and skill, so finding it here was a very pleasant surprise. I also really enjoyed meeting Renato, Giuseppe’s father. He is naturally warm, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Something about him reminded me of my own family. We ended up having such a lovely conversation, and I was genuinely impressed by how thoughtful and gracious he was. Talio has that rare combination of real skill, warmth, and the feeling of a true family business. I left extremely happy with both my haircut and the whole experience. I’ll absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend Giuseppe.

  I moved to DC two years ago and have struggled to find a hair cut I loved. I visited Talio and Ty the stylist made me feel at home. Atmosphere was very friendly and clean. Ty really listens and gave me a great haircut. I will definitely be coming back.

  Absolutely love every experience at Talio Hair. Renato is the best and has been taking care of me since 2017. See him every month as my hair grows fast and it's one of my favorite days of my month.

  I went on 10/31 and saw Shinee, SHE IS THE BEST. I got my hair dyed silver and I am so happy with it. She wants to do fun colors, help my girl out, go see her ASAP.

  Beautiful salon! Giuseppe cleaned up my hair, and made me look like normal person again! The staff is very professional and follow Covid19 guidelines. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
