- EMEridani MendezNov 1, 20234.0I went in for a consultation to do a strand test because I had previous brown box dye coloring and some treatments. We let the bleach sit for 20 minutes and it got pretty light and in my pictures you could tell that it is blonde. So I scheduled an appointment to go back for a few face framing highlights. The lady who was doing my hair that day was different from the lady did my strand test. She was so lovely very nice and answered any questions I had but I did not leave with the color result I wanted. They had told me it wouldn’t be too light because of my hairs history but it was orange and not the color of the lighter strand test. Also she did a toner but at the time I was not aware that a toner doesn’t deposit color it tones already yellowish lighter hair. My hair was a brassy orange so it did nothing but I had to pay extra. The ladies are wonderful I think it was just a lack of communication on both ends.
