  Shout out to Onyx for helping me find the right shade and product of lightweight SPF foundation to match my skin tone, along with a couple other items today. She was super helpful. When I walked in I was immediately pretty overwhelmed by the huge selection of products and how crowded the store was and almost gave up and walked right back out. I had already spent 10–15 minutes trying different shades and products and somehow felt more confused than when I started. I probably had about a dozen different shades on my face and arms at that point and was a mess. When Onyx found me, she immediately helped me reset. She first gave me her opinion, then used the shade matching camera/software on her device after helping me wipe everything off. Her first two picks were incredibly close and honestly much better than what I had been guessing on my own. What took me 10–15 minutes of trial and error took her only seconds. I also appreciated that she let me try everything and gave me the final say, asking how I felt about the matches instead of being pushy. We then picked out the remaining items on my list and she recommended great products that fit exactly what I was looking for. She was knowledgeable, professional, calm, and easygoing despite how busy the store was. I also really appreciated being able to check out with her on the spot. Too many retailers miss the mark when it comes to respecting customer time. I thought I was going to have to wait in a super long line, so that was a pleasant surprise. I left with everything I needed, felt great about the products after testing them first, spent about what I expected to spend, and even left with a few free samples. If you shop here and start feeling overwhelmed, find one of their associates instead of struggling in silence. Overall highly recommend.

  Kevin is great. It was busy when I visited this afternoon, but he was successfully helping every shopper in the store. He found me a nearly perfect shade match for a beloved discontinued Nars lipstick. Thanks Kevin!

  I typically like to come to THIS Sephora because the one at Sephora Burlingame feels like they racially profile you. Unfortunately today 1/25 they only had one makeup artist on the floor in the morning. She was so nice and helpful during my color match but customers were getting noticeably irritated that she was unable to help them when she was busy with me. Hope they can improve on their staffing shortage here.
