I returned an item well before the 30-day return policy limit, and was told by the store associate that I could only have in-store merchandise credit. I am now following up with Sephora HQ and they've said that they are not sure why the store associate did that as they should have issued either a full refund or a gift card at my request. This is so annoying, now I have to go back into the physical store to purchase an item.

I live in the neighborhood & I shop frequently. I think every time I have an interaction with this lady it’s always sour.(curvy lady with septum piercing) It’s either she doesn’t know about the products or she’s just dismissive and curt. I think it’s time I just don’t go there anymore

Please carry unscented products. I specifically went in looking for unscented shampoo. OLAPLEX was recommended to me by an employee. Smelled pretty light in the store. Not the case when I got home. I returned it.

Shout out to Claire for listening to all my skin needs and perfectly matching and recommending me a variety of tinted moisturizers and foundations, which I love. She was super helpful and hooked it up with some samples. The store is clean with good music too 💃🏻

As long-time Sephora customers, this experience was extremely disappointing. A staff member named Lina (or Linda) incorrectly told my friend that our purchases qualified for a discount, when in reality the promotion didn’t start until three days later. We only realized this after checking out, and once we explained that we wouldn’t have made those purchases with the correct information, her attitude became noticeably cold and dismissive.
When I decided not to purchase all my items, she asked me to put the products back on the shelves myself. That is not appropriate customer service, especially after a mistake on the store’s end.
Situations like this damage trust and make loyal customers reconsider returning. I hope Sephora takes this feedback seriously and improves both staff training and customer care.
